Everybody needs to go at least once! 2/14/2010

We took our children for Valentine's Day - I hadn't been in 25 years - it's still the same! An excellent place for a family - food was okay - not good - not bad - just mediocre. Salad car was excellent - Service was above excellent! A must visit for any family and a memory that will never be forgotten. Both my children requested a visit here for their birthday in lieu of a party and they didn't want to leave!!! We drove an hour and a half to get there - it WAS worth it! Just remember - you're going for the atmoshpere! Pros: Atmosphere, kid friendly, fun Cons: price more

Entertaining and Nostalgic....Lots of Fun for Families... 11/5/2009

Still Entertaining, even after all these years..it still wows\r When you go to Magic time machine, you arent going for the menu, you go for the entertainment. The menu is short, but huge portions, very satifying.\r Every sitting area is a different theme. Was fun just discovering what was around the next corner, be sure to bring a camera. \r the entire staff, was very entertaining, Captain jack Sparrow is So dead on character, and hilarious, this guy ROCKS! great for parties with adults. We ordered the Greek Orgy Feast, and being served was well worth the price, as several characters deliver the food, and entertainment was hilarious, and in-spite the name was very ""clean"" fun as we had young children in our party.\r Now, Cinderalla was graceful and the most perfect treat for any young girls b-day.\r Entertainment factor 5 stars\r Food factor 4 stars\r Price factor 3 stars\r THE PLACE TO GO FOR B-DAYS.... still even after all these years..it still wows Pros: Waitstaff is so much fun, walk around exploring encouraged. good for a 1st date... icebreaker 8/12/2009

we had the devil at some server and he was great. dennis the menace was the guy at the front door. screaming kids running around like crazy, wish i could have tripped them. The character role playing of the server was a good ice breaker for a first date.. no akward silence because we were laughing at our guy. menu was misplaced, mediocre food and over priced. spinach dip was good.. that's about it, Pros: fun, good icebreaker for a first date, decor Cons: kids, kids and kids more

Good Food, Lots of Fun, Needs a Facelift 5/29/2009

It was my daughter's birthday and we took a large group of 10 year olds there for dinner. I had read the reviews and went there expecting the kids to have fun and not much else. We walked in and smelled fish. Not a good sign. I imeediately decided I wasn't going to risk making myself sick with bad fish. We were shown to our table and placed our order. The servers were great....very in character. The kids loved the surroundings and loved getting their kids menus autographed. The food arrived and that is when we were pleasantly surprised. The portions were huge and the food was really, really delicious. Perfectly prepared and seasoned. All the adults there kept laughing and saying ""I never expected to enjoy the food!"" I have read the poor reviews and maybe it depends on who is cooking in the kitchen that night, because everything was very, very good tonight. I just wish they would give this place a really good scrubbing.....all my germ phobias were going crazy. Maybe some new carpet, as well. This is a perfect place for a party of kids. Not sure I would go on a date night or anything.....but was much better than expected. Pros: Huge Portions, Good Food, Fun for Kids Cons: Dingy, Dirty and Smells Funny more

don't waste your time 11/15/2008

First and last timer to time machine in Addison, TX. Went for a birthday party. The menu is confusing; the food was horrible-overcooked ribs, and flavorless steaks. Two people $75 meal;Feel so slighted about this meal, this is the third review I have done, and went tonight. IT WAS BAD!!!!!! Pros: It is over now Cons: FOOD, COST, Hour long wait more

What a Blast! 11/9/2006

Great place to take the kids or that first date. The waitors and waitresses are all dressed in character and keep there character threwout the night. Each table is also made into a theme. My personal favorite is the crayon box. Menu is a little over priced, but made up for in enviornment and atmosphere. Definately call for reservations on weeknights. Ask for Supermans section, he is by far one of the best there, a definate veteran. Pros: Wait Staff, Theme Tables, Fun Fun Fun Cons: Limit Menu more
