Best

The food is great. I am on my android. But it is so good that I had to stop and let u know.

Worst

Mediocre food, indifferent service; that sums up this restaurant. Because it is walking distance from my home, I keep trying to make it work - but botched orders, mysteriously lon...

The wait is worth the food 4/23/2006

Mae's on Phinney is a great place to enjoy some good greasy breakfast food. They have a standard breakfast menu, but the portions are large and the food is great. Though I must warn, this is a little bit of a greasy spoon. If you are looking for a healthy breakfast, then you are should look elsewhere. Mae's is a no apologies type of restaurant, there is usually a line outside their Phinney Ridge location, whether it's raining or sunny, people are inevitably waiting for a table outside (there isn't much of a waiting area inside), though they do have a nice coffee window for the poor souls who rolled out of bed a little later. Mae's is really a wonderful spot for a throwback breakfast. I have yet to be disappointed. more

great breakfast in phinney 12/19/2005

Who doesn't love breakfast food, especially when you're eating it in a restaurant decorated with a very bovine theme. The food here is great, with heaping mounds of food that you won't be able to finish. The atmosphere is what you would picture a neighborhood eatery to be. Everyone is so friendly you'll want to come back again and again. more

By far the best breakfast I have ever eaten...How can you not enjoy a great breakfast of French Toast made with THE best cinnamon rolls ever created?? Can't wait till my next visit to the Seattle area...if Mae wants to do me a favor, open a place in the New York area so I don't have to travel so far! more

shake and eggs anyone? big breakfast joint on phinney 7/31/2005

this is the cow place right on phinney ridge- decorated in black and white and always full of people on the weekends. mae's serves breakfast in a big way- yummy omeletes and scrambles, great home fries/potatoes and if you are really hungry try the Shake and Eggs. this place is large with several rooms extending in many directions and even a few outside tables in back so even if it is full, the wait isn't usually very long. green lake is just down the hill in case you need to walk off your farmer's feast. more
