Macey's Food & Drug

Well, you can't beat a good grocery store. It has everything from Peach Yogurt to great sandwhich meat to your big bags of cereal. The prices are less on average than what you get at other local grocery stores. I would highly recommend macey's, especially if it's close. more

Macey's beats all of the other grocery stores in Provo, in my opinion. Their prices are excellent, and their selection is really good. Their store is also clean (unlike some other cheap grocery stores). Except for the fact that they are so busy during the school year, I definitely think that they are the best. For baby food and baby cereals, they have bigger packages and better prices than elsewhere. I have also always found the people to be friendly. more

I have always had a great experience shopping at Macey's. They have overall the lowest prices around. The selection is good. I like how they are not open on Sunday's, but are open 24 hours otherwise. The aisles are easy to navigate. One time, there was a little wait with the customer in front of me. I did not think it was overly excessive, but the cashier gave me and the next gentleman in line a candy bar. It had a sticker on it apologizing for the wait. It was a small touch, but it made my day. The cashiers are always very friendly. They offer small cooking classes monthly. There is one most weeknights. This is the best grocery store in the area more

Grocery shopping is a big deal to me. I get excited watching the ads, comparing prices, and getting the best deal. I've discovered that it's difficult to find smaller, local grocery stores with good prices AND good selection. After a recent trip to another state where the small, non-national chain stores, have pretty low prices, but not much to choose from, I really appreciate the options I have. Macey's is a great store with family values and good prices. You can find most any brand you are looking for. The produce section is very good. I don't care for their generic line (Western Family) very much, but there are some things that are fine. Their sales ads come out every week. They have lots of great deals weekly, but the ad is poorly organized and can make it difficult to plan your shopping trip. Overall, it's a great store with a good selection, including local favorites. more
