I have only twice been to Mackenzie Pub. The first time was for a nice lunch on a day off. I enjoyed a nice beer with a good serving of casserole (""hotdish"") and a sandwich. The second time I stopped by later in the month for a beer. The bartender was a young man who seemed rather laid-back. When I commented on the price of my pint of Guiness, he basically told me to go somewhere else if I didn't like the price in a way that indicated to me that he was doing me a favor of serving me in the first place. I drank my Guiness and have chosen to follow the young man's advice: I have never returned. I think that this pub could be a fine place for eating and drinking, but brash staff need to be respectful of customers, as well. Perhaps I'll give them another chance someday.
Pros: great atmosphere, good and solid food, nice assortment of beers
Cons: service could be better
