Authentic Pub 11/24/2007

I have been a regular at M'Coul's for more than 5 years. I am a regular there because, quite frankly, it's the most welcoming place in town with the healthiest and best food I've found in Greensboro. It's not dirty, nor is the food frozen prepared -- it's prepared fresh every day. They really care about their customers, unlike many places, and use all-natural chicken and beef and often will prepare me a meal not on the menu since I am there so often. I love M'Coul's -- it's my home away from home. more

M'Coul's is Fantastic... 8/23/2006

I've been to many pubs all over the country, and never have I been to one that really hit the mark like M'Coul's does. The staff is the nicest in town, the food is surprisingly good - with a lot of healthy choices, and the selection of beer and liquor is incredible. I was surprised to read the above review about the cleanliness, because I didn't get the feeling at all that it was dirty. It had the overall impression that it was well looked after, and that they were determined to make us happy with our experience. WE LOVED IT! more

Good beer and hot pretzels 4/11/2006

M'Couls Public House has a wide selection of beer on tap. The food is average, although the hot, soft pretzels are wonderful. The restaurant is a bit dark, and it feels like they keep it that way so you won't notice how dirty the place is. Everything is sticky, and the bathrooms are sub-par. They have a great idea, but they need to do some deep cleaning and work on preparing fresh foods, rather than frozen prepared foods. more

Raspberry beer... 8/9/2005

We love eating at Mcouls because my mom adores the raspberry beer that they have. It is so sweet that it does not even tast like beer and I guess that is why she likes it. The food is great and I recommed the seafood dip as an appetizer. The turkey club is awesome and the carrots and ranch go perfectly with it. The ranch here is the good kind, like Hams. The service is fairly good and they took our order without writing it down and everything came out right. Crazy when that happens, although it always makes me nervous. Try Mcouls for yourself and enjoy the Irish pub feel. more
