MEDermis Laser Clinic - The Tattoo Removal Specialists

I have been wanting my tattoo removed for about 10 years and finally got up the courage to do it. I found Medermis Laser Clinic online and made an appointment. I was very apprehensive about all the glowing reviews (thinking they were fake), but after I met with Iris, I decided then and there to start my treatment. She told me it would take 6-8 sessions, and it actually only took four. I finished up last week. She and the rest of the staff were nothing less than professional, courteous and friendly. Honestly I think the one star poster is confused and talking about another company. It is polar opposite from my experience, and to call Iris a witch is cruel, ridiculous, and in no way accurate. She is one of the sweetest people I have ever dealt with in a professional setting. As for the tattoo removal itself, she takes you in a room and you lie on a small bed. She places an ice pack on the tattoo for about 5 minutes. Then she removes it and puts a bigger ice pack on for about 30 seconds. Then she goes to work with the laser. I felt absolutely nothing. Seriously. Nothing! The ice numbs your skin so all you feel is a bit of pressure where the laser is hitting you. I had to laugh when it was over. If you have been thinking about having yours removed, I HIGHLY recommend Medermis. I had a 1"x1" tattoo removed for about $280 and four treatments. Way cheaper and much less painful than I ever expected. more

This place is a joke. Ya, they have a great web-site and facebook page, but walk into the San Antonio location and you will get something else. I met some lady who didn't give me her name or business card and we did our consultation. This lady was dressed very unprofessional and gave me such a bad vibe. She didn't explain the process, show me the laser, or give me any literature to take home. She just looked at my tattoos and tried to sell me a package right off the bat without even giving me any information. She said that they don't pressure people but that is all she was doing. I found somewhere else who has the same laser and is charging a 3rd of the price. I would hate to have to deal with this witch on a regular basis. Don't waste your time dealing with this place. I've been hesitant to get my tattoo removed because I wasn't able to find a good place that I was comfortable with. The staff at Medermis made me feel relaxed and they were very helpful and friendly. It only took one treatment and my tattoo is gone. If you're looking for a professional and friendly staff, then this is the place. more

You may think that a laser tattoo removal clinic being located in a tattoo shop is strange, but Lonestar Clinic has got it down! Element Tattoo is a very clean and cool tatt shop. Lonestar uses the tatt shop once a month to remove tattoos and they are the best! They use the best equipment and Martha (the laser tech) is awesome! She really knows what she is doing and it's fast and not as painful as I was expecting. Did I mention that the prices are amazing! What would have been $1000's in the past is now $100's. One time me and this guy I know got really drunk. I did some stupid things that night, but penicillin took care of most of them. The one thing it couldn't fix is the phrase "sexxay grampaw" that was tatooed on my forehead. 2 years of agony were erased thanks to LoneStar. It took me some time to make my decision on where to get my tattoo removed. After several emails with Lone Star and a couple of phone calls, I knew they were the clinic that had it all together. I have heard so many horror stories about these sorts of procedures, so by doing my homework on the front side, I was able to determine that with the experience, training and background that the laser techs have at Lone Star Laser Clinic, they were the right choice. I have had 2 treatments already, and indeed, they are awesome! Martha is exceptionally good at what she does. When I decided to remove my tattoo I was very skeptical and nervous about the procedure. The laser technicians were very educated on this procedure, which made me feel very comfortable and less nervous. The laser techs were patient and friendly through out the procedure. It's very uncommon to find such helpful, understanding people now adays. The quality of their customer service extended even after I left their office. The laser tech followed up with me a few days later, to ask how I was doing and if I needed anything to call them anytime for their help. I have recommended their services to all my friends and anybody else. I have an ugly big tattoo on my back that I wanted to remove. The problem is that I have adult acne and I am planning to go on an accutane treatment next month. Because of the accutane that I'm going to go under, laser tattoo removal can't be done. The staff at LoneStar offered to give me a facial rejuvenation instead to see how that looked and felt. I am in the process of getting 3 tattoos removed on my forearms: a crown, a dragon (face), and some tribal writing. I was driving from San Antonio to Austin roughly every 4 weeks to have the procedure done. Now, LoneStar Laser Clinic is opening in San Antonio, so now I'll just need to drive across town to continue getting my treatments. The reason I'm removing them is because I'm tired of wearing long sleeves to hide them. I was in the military for 7 years and it seemed like 1 out of every 3 people had a visible tattoo (arms, forearms, legs). I didn't really stand out with my forearms tattooed, but after separating from the military, I returned home (Irvine) and found out that I now stick out like a sore thumb. People give me dirty looks and judge me by them, assuming I socialize with the wrong people or some kind of miscreant. Even if the work/office environment were more accepting towards body art, I'd still have them removed. I'm tired of looking at them, I'm tired of hiding them under long sleeves, and I regret ever getting (visible) tattoos. Eventually, I'll have all of them removed. I kept putting off the tattoo removal process because I kept assuming it would cost thousands and that I'd be in excruciating pain. I was wrong...on both counts.
