This is the worst place ever. I would not recommend Fidel Castro to got here, it is that bad! I dropped a Michael Kors bag to be cleaned over a month ago that I had received as a gift over the holidays. The bag discolored easily due to the light suede, and I was told this was from the dye in my jeans. I was told it would take a week to complete. I called a week and half later, and was placed on hold 5 minutes, called back and placed on hold another 5 minutes. I decided to go into the store because they didn't answer their phone, that was the first red flag. They couldn't find my bag for 15 minutes, and then once it was found, the repair man started yelling at the front end lady saying ""I need at least 2 weeks"" I interjected with, ""Oh no problem, no one was answering the phones, I was told the bag would be done in a week, he rudely respnded, ""No ma'am I need two weeks"", I had to got out of town, so I didn't get back to Lyndhurst hell repair for 3 weeks, giving him ample time to finish. I went to pick up the bag today, and was told IT STILL WASN'T FINISHED, and to come back tomorrow. I told them this was not acceptable, and I wanted my bag and I would pay for the work he did and I will take it somewhere else to have it completed. He refused to give me MY handbag, while raising his voice at me and told me to come back tomorrow, and that point I was infuriated, we started arguing, loudly, I couldn't belive I was being bullied by somewhere I brought business. I told him I was calling the police, I did, they came and said they could not do much, other than help me get the bag back, and taking him to small claims courts was going to cost me much more than paying to get my destroyed bag back, or they suggested picking it up tomorrow. At this point I did not feel comfortable leaving my bag any longer,No accountablity to them saying they would have this completed in a week, and it has now be more than a month? The officer said unfortunately this is a civil matter and not much they could do about poor business? Poor business, this man was verbally abusing me! This man was abusive, psycho, intimidating, rude, and anything else you can think of. Do not go here! more

Will destroy your property and offer an apology 10/11/2011

CCM vector 04 Goalie skates. Lace eye gourmets pulling out and shredding shoe laces. Left at LYNDHURST LUGGAGE & SHOE REPAIR for repair, told it would take two weeks. 4 weeks later, numerous phone calls and excuses and after waiting in shop for 90 minutes skates returned. Lace eye gourmets do not appear to be correct but can't prove it. First time skates worn all eye pull out causing laces to split and pull into leather boot. Returned to shop, refund given with apology. Stated at that time they did not have the tools or equipment to repair the skates correctly. I am now left with a $200 pair of goalie skates that are worthless. 12/2011 update Now telling BBB and OH state attorney generals office they repair all kinds of Hockey equipment and mine was just wore out, that's why the repairs didn't work. So they don't have the tools or equipment by their own admission but they repair the hockey equipment all the time? more

I bought boots at Aldo. The sales lady assured me they can be taken in because the boots were too big in the calf. She recommended Lyndhurst Luggage and Shoe Repair. When I dropped them off they said it would take a week. I called them a week later. The lady couldn?t find my boots. When she did she told me they weren?t done. My mom picked them up later the next day and while she was standing in line a lady in front of her was complaining about them messing her boots up. Well guess what, they messed mine up too. The leather was wrinkled and stretched and looked horrible. She made the owner try to fix them while she waited there. When I came home, I went to try them on. The right boot zipped up but hardly and was really tight. The left boot I couldn?t even zip half way up, it was way too small. I took them back the next day to have them fixed. I picked them up couple days later and when the lady brought the box out it was trashed. It looked like someone sat on it and was throwing it around. I take the boots out only to find a huge tare inside on the leather on the left boot. Also, the top is cut off?I don?t remember asking them to make one shorter than the other. They quickly glued a patch on the tare when I showed them. Next, the right boot already had two massive patches inside the boot. I?m thinking to myself?what in the world happened to my boots?! I am so disappointed I don?t even want the boots anymore. I spent $200 on the boots and $50 on the alter and all they offered me was to give me $10 back. What am I going to do with $10!? I am never going back there again and recommending that you don?t either. more

Horrible service, rude owner and employees! 11/5/2007

Poor service, rude management - completely ruined my shoes and did nothing to rectify the situation. I was basically told by the owner that he did not do anything wrong and he did not owe me anything. Save your money and go elsewhere! Cons: Rude owner, services take much longer than quoted, shoddy repair services more

I took my Marc Jacobs bag there to be cleaned . The purse was in good condition, it just had a couple of pen marks on it. I was told that it would take a week, it took three weeks! I already had some suspicion that something went wrong, but every time I called they just reassured me that they just had alot of orders. I finnaly came to pick it up exactly 3 weeks later, and was shocked by the site of my bag. It looked horrible, it was wrinkled, completly faded, and shrunk...it was completly ruined. Obviously I was very upset about the whole situation, so I refused to take the purse, and pay $40.00 for the repairs. I was told the owner was not in at that time, so I waited until the next day for his phone call. Jim (owner/Full-time A-HOLE) called me on friday to inform me that he was basically not willing to do anything about this matter, like give me my money to replace the purse that he personally ruined. I'm just enraged by this whole situation, so I went ahead and filed a small claims court suit against him, and hopefully will get something out of it. I just reccommend to stay far away from that place... and if you dont believe me just search his bussiness in the Better Business Burea, and see how many compaints he has! Cons: Careless, effortless Owner, horrible service, ruins products and takes no blame! more
