This place just closed it doors. What a sad day! I loved getting gift certificates for Christmas, Birhdays, and Anniversarys. I got my hair cut here, I got my massages here. Marla...

Lumiere Gift Certificates 12/14/2010

Quick update, SpaVia stopped accepting Lumiere gift certificates effective 12.1.10. There are still options available for those of you still holding certificates. Please call the salon # and I will share those with you. Please be patient as I am just the messenger trying to either reconnect you with your previous technician or help you get use from your gift certificate, I am not an employee or one of the owners. more

Closed - What to do with a Lumiere Gift Certificate? 3/5/2010

Due to Lumiere's sudden closure, there are many disappointed Lumiere customers left with unredeemable Gift Certificates. Spavia Day Spa in Greenwood Village (303-221-0068) is offering 1 Complimentary Signature Massage or Facial to any Lumiere customer holding an unreedemed, valid Lumiere Gift Certificate. We know Lumiere was a great member of the Day Spa community for many years, and are saddened by the way in which it closed. While we understand that this complimentary service can never make up entirely for this loss nor cover the entire amount of many of the Gift Certificates held by its customers, this service is our way of providing a little bit of relaxation to those Lumiere customers left in a bind holding unredeemed Gift Certificates at the time of their sudden closure. Visit our spaviadayspa website to learn more about our Greenwood Village location. Call 303-221-0068 for details and restrictions on this offer. Only 1 complimentary signature service per customer. Offer valid ONLY at the Greenwood Village Spavia location. Valid Lumiere Gift Certificate must be mentioned at time of booking, and must be presented at time of service. more

My heart is broken 2/3/2010

This place just closed it doors. What a sad day! I loved getting gift certificates for Christmas, Birhdays, and Anniversarys. I got my hair cut here, I got my massages here. Marla was the most amazing massage therapist! The rainbath therapy was quite an experience. I can't believe it's gone...just like that! Anyone who had the chance to experience this spa will remember what a pleasant place this was to visit. Good luck to all the employees there! more

The best of the best 3/6/2009

Amazing adventure in town. Never have I been more relaxed in such a short period of time. Kind staff and carefree environment. I have been to many other places and this is by far my favorite. Great prices and services were well worth every penny. Best facial, massage and pedicure I have ever experienced more

Lack of support for fellow stylists 2/11/2009

It is very ironic that most of the front desk personnel and the majority of the spa technicians have their hair ""done"" outside of Lumiere. What does this say about Lumiere? Are their hairstylists not capable of taking care of their co-workers? Do the owners support their own hair salon or do they take their business elsewhere? It makes me wonder, why should I keep supporting Lumiere when their own employees do not support the salon. I do like the stylist I go too. I just don't understand the lack of support for the salon from their fellow co-wokers. Pros: great parking, Cons: seems to be some discord within the salon and spa more

Five years with Lumiere and no desire to look elsewhere! 2/4/2009

The staff treats you like a friend. Farah gives the best manicures and pedicures that I have had in 30 years! The atmosphere is pretty, but not pretentious. The people are friendly and professional. The location (in Tamarac Square) is convenient and parking is easy. If you are fortunate enough to get an appointment with Farah, you will be relaxed and pampered, yet she is almost always on time. Once you find a spot at which you feel at home, you do not want to look elsewhere. Pros: Great service, easy parking Cons: None that I can think of more

Love Lumiere! 2/1/2009

I love Lumiere! I moved here from Chicago about 7 years ago and was definitely on a search for a great place just like Lumiere where I could go regularly for the routine general maintenance primping. I wound up finding something much better. Lumiere is located super conveniently in Tamarac Square. Right away, I met Alita, one of the owners. She is amazing. She gives great attention to detail (eyebrows) and really knows what she is doing. She has given me the best facials ever and really knows what products are the best for me. When I first started seeing her, my eyebrows were super skinny due to some bad waxing. Through time, she has completely fixed them and they look great. More recently Meg started working for the salon. She is a complete artist when it comes to hair. Every nice occasion that I attend, you bet that I am there to see Meg for an updo. I don't even have to bring her a picture...she impresses me every time with her creativity and skill. She also has an amazing vision for style and color! Alita, Meg and the rest of the staff there that I have seen are GREAT at what they do. They are also super friendly and really care about the clientele. The product that the salon uses for spray tanning is super; it is the only product that I have tried that doesn't turn my skin orange. I have also gone to them for spa mani/pedis and massage which have also been great. They are also very reasonably priced for such a great spa. Check them won?t be disappointed! more

Outstanding--Best day spa in Denver 1/27/2009

I've been going to Lumiere for two years now and I couldn't be happier with it. The front desk is fabulous (they know the majority of the clientele by name) and the services are excellent and affordable. Each esthetician, nail tech and massage therapist I've been to is experienced, talented and just plain delightful. The location and parking are way convenient too. I just had the Sugar polish for the first time last week....totally amazing...highly recommend it! more

Will Never Go There Ever Again and You Should Not Go There Ever!!! 1/24/2009

The staff is rude and cold and down right un-pleasant to be around. The service is terrible and they are not good at what they do Terrible facials and massage. The owner was rude when I tried to talk to her. Pros: Location Cons: Staff is TERRIBLE as is the owners!!! more

Friendly Spa & Excellent Service! 1/22/2009

I've recently moved to Denver from Los Angeles, and was looking for a decent spa/salon for regular grooming and maintenance. I've seen it all, from the foo-foo to the little hole-in-the-wall types, so nothing really surprises me. more

This place is beautiful! 1/18/2007

Everytime I come here it is a lovely experience. From the down to earth staff and managers to the excellent services, I love it! I actually fell asleep during my last was so relaxing! The prices are decent and the staff is highly skilled and personable. Pros: Friendly staff, great facials Cons: difficult location more

They don't know much about hair color 1/7/2007

I just had a really bad experience at a hair salon at Lumiere Day Spa & Salon. I came in to get highlights but the hairdresser insisted for me to get an all over color (I am naturally dark blond and used to get blond highlights). So now I practically look bold, because the hair color is lighter then my skin. I look like a ghost. Meanwhile when we were done she just kept saying ""oh you look beautiful"". She must really have bad taste. Never coming back again. Pros: parking Cons: not much of professional expertise more

Beautiful!! 11/14/2006

I bought my mother-in-law a makeover package for the day here and it was awesome! She was very nervous about being in a spa for a day but the staff treated her very well and made her feel special. The prices were good, the manager was very sincere, and the atmosphere is beautiful! Pros: Staff, facility, boutique inside, value Cons: location - a little hard to find more

Great for men too! And they take walk-ins! 4/13/2006

46 years and this guy never had a facial. What have I been missing by being so macho? I emphatically encourage everyone to get the 60 minute Swedish combined with the 60 minute facial! But if you have to choose, the facial is the poor-man's massage of choice. They treat not only your face, but your neck, shoulders, upper back and even your hands! Expert and gentle, they calmed and pampered me completely. BTW, when they say 'sports massage' I think it is the more manly way of saying 'full body massage'. ha! Don't wait as long as I did. Get in and find out how good these folks really are, for your own good! With no appointment, I walked in and had them working on me within a half hour! Unheard of elsewhere!! Pros: TerraCotta decor, Walk-up available!, Market Prices Cons: No tea/wine offered more

Perfect 2/13/2006

I had gotten the Sea Salt scrub for a gift for my birthday, and it was excellent. The staff was very friendly, and the massage therapist was very informative and helpful. I had the best time, I would defintely go back. Pros: Free parking, great atmosphere, friendly staff Cons: Location tough 2 find more

No Snotty Pretentiousness 11/7/2005

My friend and I went for a day of pampering and that's just what we got! The environment is unhurried and serene. The staff was courteous and professional with personal attention to detail the experience towards my needs. I had a facial, body wrap, massage and manipedi and it was a fantastic day! Ill definitely be going back to try the other treatments. Pros: Free Parking, Friendly Staff, Great Value more

Fabulous Facial from Alita 2/10/2005

I rec'd my first facial from one of the owners, Alita. She was pleasant, knowledgable, and provided an outstanding introduction to their beautiful salon. I'll definitely go back for more - well appointed treatment rooms. I was using a less than optimal skin care system and she sold me on their products which have already improved my skin. It was not a hard sell at all. I feel like I received a great value for my money as she added the hand treatment as well. Don't miss this place! Pros: location/parking, value per dollar, wonderful staff more
