Chicago style meats with a Tucson flair 3/17/2006

When you park outside Luke's the first thing you get is the aroma of grilling meat. There are no frills here but if you want hamburgers, hot dogs, or subs at good prices cooked while you wait, this is the place. Their fries rival Eegee's in taste and warmth. It only takes about 5 minutes from ordering until your meal is ready. The interior decorating and seating comfort leave something to be desired but is easily made up for by the food, and of course the Bears paraphernalia. more

Luke's - A must-have for any Tucsonan 7/30/2005

Luke's has been a staple of Tucson for many years. You must try their food at least once whether you are a resident or a visitor. The hot dogs and fries are high quality and are so good. Their prices are very reasonable. This is a nice change from the typical fast food chain. more

Stuffed Sub 7/16/2005

Luke's has been a mainstay in Tucson for years, now with 3 locations throughout town, you can visit from most parts of town. Subs stuffed fat with meat and cheese, dripping with Italian dressing, my husband can barely get one down and usually does not need food the rest of the day (this from a guy who always orders 2 dinners when we go out). I can usually eat 1/2 of their sandwiches. Go for the Italian, it's the best!! Casual dining and lots of working guys love this place, it's not fancy, but the food's great! more
