Lucky House

Try their beef noodle soup and it is just great. Very good service & patient if you are with a group of friends on weekdays and even when there's not many customers around. I like to have Dim-sum here on weekends too, for their variety and price. The Dim-sum quality is great it's fresh made by them not like some restaurant that serve frozen Dim-sum, so stale and dried and having lost originality taste. Their fried food are crisp and freshly fried. good stuff. more

This is the only place to get dim sum in Plano. On the weekend they will push the cart around but on week days, you will have to special order it. The place is small but very intimate. They also have a great dinner menu at very reasonable price. Definitely come for brunch on the weekend and try their dim sum. Each plate cost around $2 to $5. Staffs are great too. more

If you're hungry in the middle of the night and can't find a place that is still open, go to Lucky House. I discovered this place a few weeks ago when a friend of mine took me there after a late meeting. We were both very very hungry, and she wanted Chinese food, I didn't know of any place that was still open at midnight, and then she suggested Lucky House. We were one of the 2 customers there. This place was an Italian restaurant before, but now it's a Chiness restaurant. They open from 11am - 2am during the week, and they open till 3am on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. What do they serve? Chinese food! The owner and the cooks were all from Hong Kong Royale in Richardson before they closed. So the food is just like Hong Kong Royale in Richardson. Now you can have dim sum in the middle of the night. I really like their shrimp dumpling soup. Their dim sum is not bad, not great. They also have the traditional rice porridge dishes as well as noodle dishes. Definitely worth a visit! more
