Mayflower Restaurant 3/15/2006

If you like a great atmosphere to eat genuine Chinese food for a relatively cheap price, i suggest going to Mayflower restaurant *changed from Lucky Palace*. Not only does that place consist of wonderful dim-sum for the afternoon, they have many traditional Chinese dishes at night for the whole family. the waitresses and waiters there are all very nice and friendly and will tend to your every need. You would expect Chinese restaurants to be dirty at times, but this restaurant is really clean, even down to the restrooms. I highly recommend the restaurant. more

Chinese food at it's best! 9/12/2005

Lucky palace has exellence chinese food that is near impossible to find anywhere else. it is prepared with such care that it looks like art. Their service is great. However, If you're looking for something more quiet, it might not be as good. It is always busy there, especially on saturdays and sunday. So if you want to try some great chinese food, get there early! more

Lucky Palace 8/30/2005

After this place changed owners, i thought the food and service dropped a bit. The restaurant itself is still good and the food tastes moderately ok, but it seems very onesided. the restaurant owners and waitresses seem to only speak mandarine while before, they spoke mandarine and cantonese. the environment itself is good and the pricing is a bit pricy now but i still give it 3 stars because it's a great place to eat dim sum. more

I recommend the dim sum dishes here very highly. When my daughter and her husband come visit me on the weekends, they love taking me out to eat. Lucky Palace is close by and is well known for their excellent dim sum. The dishes are steamy, hot, flagrant, and melt in your mouth. My favorites are the shu mai, har gow, cha shu bao, and don tot. Do try the fried gluten balls, also. Very crispy. more
