A nightmare..my son who needed the money so badly had to wait10 days after i told him it is on its way. False advertising .. They do not tell you that if you are first time sender, that you are subject to thier so called screening .. For what ever reason it is,.. So needless to say i thought after three or four days they have not taken the money out of my account that they lost my request, so I used that money to send it western union.. My son was already starving...then terrible thing started happenning to my bank account... lucky money finally charged my account ,,now overdrawn $25.00 overdraft fee then lucky money charges my account a penny for verification purpose they say... My bank charged me another $25..whats worst was when they did it again for two cents again ..again another $25...so it costed me $75 to send $100 and it took 10 day to recieve and they were the cause of my overdraft because they did not say beware if you are a first time sender.......may take longer than expected more

whomever has good reviews about lucky money may actually work for the company. My experience was as follows. TransFast wanted copies of ID and an authorization form. I printed and filled out form, scanned in a high res image of the ID and sent. Because US ID's are designed to prevent good quality scans/copies, that was the best we could get. They just kept asking over and over for a better copy even though I could read everything, we finally said NO. Then with LuckMoney, I called customer service FIRST, and they were unable to answer basic questions like what is the best method to send 3,000 USD to Philippines, and finally hung up on me. Called back and asked to speak with supervisor, waited, and when someone came on the phone, I ran down the story and they said ""Let me transfer you to a supervisor..."" LOL then got transferred to voicemail. \r \r If I had this much trouble reaching a rep BEFORE sending money, I would NEVER use them. NO on LuckyMoney, and NO on TransFast.\r \r If you want money transferred, USE WIRE TRANSFER. If you don't, you are subjecting yourself to the mercy of someone sitting in a shack on the other side of the world who can't/won't answer questions or provide you with results.\r \r more

Poor Customer Service, Does Not Respond to B B B Complaint, Good Luck Getting a Refund 2/27/2008

I have always used Remithome for my remittance service to the Phils., but when I saw that Lucky Money's service fee was a bit lower than Remithome, I decided to give them a try. A bit of a background about me, I'm a military dependent stationed here in Germany, we were formerly stationed in NC before moving here. I didn't know that this would cause a problem with using the service of Lucky Money, but it did. Ok, I registered online, provided my info (bank acct, driver's license, etc). I got a call hours later asking for a copy of my DL and voided check. I said, fine, you need to verify my identity. So I sent in the required paperwork via email. I got another phonecall, this time I was being asked why the address on my check is different from that of my DL, and why is it that I live in Germany yet my contact # is in CA. First, I explained that we were stationed in NC when I opened my bank account, hence the address on the check. Second, my DL reflects my current address (APO). Third, we use Skype that's why we have a local US number. Pros: Nothing Cons: Does not respond to emails, B B B filings, refund policy is non-existent more
