They charged me 2300 dollars to repair my AC, when it went out again 5 months later they claimed it was a hose that went bad and caused the system to drain. I contended they should have checked all the AC hoses as part of the previous repair. They charged me another 1100 dollars and covered not a penny under the supposed ""warranty"" of previous work. Their labor rate is insane at 120 dollars an hour. If you want to get fleeced with a smile, this is the place to go! more

Worst experience - Cost $2000 to fix what they messed up 7/14/2010

Went in to have power steering problem fixed. They repaired per service bulletin, but filled and charged me for Premium PS fluid. Service bulletin said in bold :""DONOT USE PS FLUID"" They said transmission solenoid was leaking; it wasn't. They replaced it with non-OEM unit, not tuned to the transmission. Result was needing to have a new torque converter and other things fixed from their bad flush method. Final cost at dealer shop to correct the Louetta work was about $2000, all due to their inept work. DONT GO THERE!!! Pros: local Cons: Un neeeded work done, inept mechanic, Damage to vehicle more

RIP OFF!!! 7/7/2009

I took my vehicle in for an ac repair and dealt with Craig. I should have walked out the moment I noticed they were having a conflict with another customer at that time. Long story short they had my vehicle for a week, the ac was not repaired, and I was still expected to pay them. I should have just left my money on the counter when I first got there and left. Thats essentially the same service I received from them. My ac still doesn't work, I,m out that money and it's 104 in Houston. Take my advice, STAY AWAY from Louetta Automotive!!! Cons: Dishonest, Absolutely NO customer service! more

BEEN GOING THERE SINCE IT OPENED ALMSOST 8 YEARS NOW! I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TREATED FAIRLY AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE WORK. EVERYONE ONLY WANTS TO SPEAK OUT WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM. What a rip-off 2/3/2009

I took my car in for a engine repair and had them fix my window at the same time. When I left the repair shop my door handle broke. It appears to me that they broke my door handle when they were fixing my window. They completely denied liability and told me I would have to pay for the part to be fixed myself. I will never go back again. What a rip-off. The general manager is such a slime-ball!! He's a car salesman working in auto repair. Don't get your car fixed there. more

NEVER GO AGAIN 8/6/2008

FIRST OFF I BROUGHT MY CAR IN FOR A OIL CHANGE AND WAS TOLD I NEEDED A COOLANT SERVICE AND TUNE UP.......NOW I HAD JUST DONE THOSE WITH MY DEALER 3MO AGO. NOW IAM A PASTOR AND IF THEY TRIED TO RIP ME OFF ?????? more

Be warned! 5/8/2008

These folks sweet talk you into conversations and try to find out what amount of harassment you will take without making too much fuss. Once they get you measured up they will find something or other with your vehicle based on what they think they can get away with. And then they will ask if you want to be dropped and picked up while they overcharge you for unneccesary reparis. Do not even go here or be prepared to be ripped off and harassed! more
