Bad food and bad service, I will never go back. We went to this restaurant hungry for Mexican food. There was only one other table with two people, yet our waitress didn't come by for drinks for a long time. Then we waited a long time to order. We didn't understand the long waits since no one was in there! The waitress was out of it and kept disappearing upstairs. We had to help ourselves to the place settings from an empty table nearby. AFter we ordered, we could not believe that we waited a half hour for the food (two burritos, is that complicated?). We seriously considered leaving after paying for the soda, and we should have. The two burritos finally appeared, but were disgusting. The meat was gristly and fat, and the whole thing lacked flavor. We told the waitress that we did not like our food, and she tried to explain that they use dark meat as the ""grilled chicken."" That wasn't the problem, it tasted horrible. The waitress went to tell the manager, and then informed us that the manager didn't want to come talk to us but would give us half off one of the inedible burritos. What a joke. At $12.50 for a disgusting burrito, $6 is still a total rip-off. In all honesty, I would prefer Taco Bell any day of the week. Even if the food was horrible, it would have been forgivable if the service was decent. But the staff was so tacky, from the waitress who kept disappearing, to the manager, I do not know how a business with such rude employees and bad food could survive in a small town. However, given that it is a tourist area in the winter, I figure maybe they are just getting by with one time customers like me who go once and vow never to return. FYI to the owner, that manager will scare people away. She was ridiculous. I'm sure I'll look back at the dining experience and laugh, but for now I just want to ralph a little bit in my mouth. Oh, and try to avoid the bathroom.
Pros: salsa is edible
Cons: food is scary, service is absent, rude, poor
