Outstanding Burger! If you're a burger aficionado you have to try this place. Buns were better than most. Fries were not all that. Overall top 5 in San Antonio. more

Heavenly Hamburger 4/27/2010

This is a great little place; location threw me and my GPS off at first, it's actually under the New Braunfels St bridge down by the train tracks. You have the choice of sitting either inside or out on their little patio. Lots of cool art/decorations around to keep your eyes busy while you wait for your food. Fantastic, juicy burger. Not sure what the bun was made of but it was good. Burger/bun ratio was right on par as well. The fresh-cut, soggy/greasy fries(similar to Chesters) unfortunately did not match up to the burger at all IMO, however that definitely won't stop me from coming back or from recommending this place to others. What are you waiting for? Check 'em out! Pros: Great burger, good prices/lunch specials, cool artwork Cons: not a fan of their fries more

great hidden away gem... 7/18/2007

The Lords Kitchen is one of those hard-to-find places that ""the locals"" only seem to know about. It's hidden away by the train tracks on the eastside of downtown. If you find it by chance you must be doing something illegal or are lost. It is sometimes difficult to get a seat---that's a good sign. The burgers are much better than most of San Antonio's favorite burger places. In fact, I would put the Lords Kitchen burger up against Chris Madrids, Lone Star or Chesters anyday. It is an original San Antonio eatery. more

Great Burger 3/23/2006

The bad: It isn't in the best of locations and the restaurants ambiance is a bit lacking. Also, my husband and I had to wait over 30 minutes for our burgers. The good: The burgers were absolutely delicious! Even with all the cons I would go again. Pros: great food Cons: too crowded, needs restoration more
