DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM LOOKINBILLS AUTO SALES!!!!! I bought a 2001 chevy cavalier on April 25th. The day I drove it off the lot, the oil light came on and the check engine light came on. By the time I took it back to them, a few days later, the engine was knocking. They said they fixed the oil light problem. I think they just unhooked the battery cables to get the check engine light to go off. By june 16th, the motor had blown. Now, he doesn't want to correct the situation and neither does the warranty company that is covering my warranty. Give your money to some one who values your business. more

Bought a car that I felt would be ok with a new inspection. Payed the KBB price for the car in excellent condition, although I shouldn't have. Noticed that it had a torn driver seat belt, which should have definitely kept it from getting a new inspection sticker. Made him replace that before I bought the car. Noticed the trunk had moisture and asked if it had leaked, he assured me it didn't and it was only condensation from the steam vac. That was a lie, the trunk leaks. One week after buying the inside smelled like exhaust while running, so I knew there was a leak. Less than 3 months after purchase engine runs rough then finally blows. The exhaust manifold had a large crack in it which caused the engine to blow. Now I have sank more then I wished into this car in replacement parts. When asking for some help with the situation, Ed says in his own words ""Used cars are un-reliable."" I wish he would have used that sales slogan before I bought the car. I have no idea how this guy has an inspection license. Its obvious that he is letting things slide to his advantage, and has no remorse when things go wrong. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HIM OR GIVE HIM BUSINESS. more

Worst experience ever. The day I bought the car the check engine light came on. found out it needed a lot of work. Lookenbill refused to take the car back. was burning 3 qts of oil. created 2 months of stress for me. Pros: 0 Cons: everything more

Horrible customer service and messed up my car and will not fix. Windshield installation. 1/13/2008

DO NOT GO HERE! \r \r The following day I removed the tape from around my windshield to find a just total reckless installation. The molding was not set in properly, there was sealant on my paint and windshield, the paint all around my windshield was chipped off, the interior plastic pillar pieces were scratched and looked as though they were thrown across the shop floor, two stickers that I was told would just peel off were stuck on my windshield. I have never installed a windshield and I am sure I could have done a better job. Needless to say I called them back, the owner apologized, and I was told to bring my car back in so they could fix it. \r \r They reset the windshield, installed a new molding, replaced the interior pieces and touched up the area around the windshield. When dropping it off the owner said he would like to touch up the paint and I could see how it looked. If I was not happy he would then have to repaint it. Well again I go to pick the car up. The windshield was installed correctly this time but the touch up of the paint is just down right horrible. He said when the paint dries it will match. The paint does not match one bit. There is touch up paint on the molding and it just looks horrible. \r \r I called them again to tell them the situation and I am basically told that is not their problem. They said they have done all they can do and I am out to get them. They said they will paint it but they will not sub it out and they are not going to take my windshield out to do it right. I am not letting them touch my car anymore. I think it is just going to look even worse if I take it back to them. \r \r I am probably just going to eat the cost to get my car fixed right. I am a very reasonable person and never one to complain but this is just ridiculous. I have pictures of my car if anyone reads this and is interested. I don?t want to see anyone else go through what I have had to go through with this ?business?.\r Cons: TO MANY TO LIST more
