Stopped to buy a small item and although they don't carry what I wanted, I found something on the after Christmass 50% off table in the Accessories area that had a price tag of $32.50 When I brought it to the register in that area, I was told by the clerk I'd have to take it to the front because they are not trusted with money in that area. At the front register, the clerk scanned a second price tag that was for $39.99-both price tags had the same item number and both had barcodes: when I pointed out the two tags I was told the higher was their price: I further commented that it seemed awfully convenient to have two tags on the item and to charge the higher - both sales clerks were abrupt and not helpful or forthcoming : they'll not ever see us again! more

DFW Worst Harley Dealer 7/4/2011

I bought my 2008 Road King at Longhorn Harley-Davidson. It would seem like a Harley-Davidson Dealer would go through and check the bikes that are traded in before they put them out for sale. Before I bought mine, they told me that it had a Smart Security System installed in it, they explained how the security system worked, and even handed me a Security System fob with the keys. After purchasing the bike I checking the bike out thoroughly, I found a broken saddle bag lock, broken Ignition knob, worn compensator bushings on the rear drive sprocket, no grease in the steering head bearings, the oil in the engine had not been changed, worn brake pads, and that there was no Smart System Security Module installed on the bike. Although they repaired the saddle bag lock, replaced the ignition knob, and replaced the compensator bushings. They refused to install a Smart Security System in it that played a big part in me purchasing the bike. I had to change the engine oil, brake pads, and greased and adjust the steering head bearings. If you plan to buy a used bike form these guys. Take it to a real motorcycle service department and have it checked out before buying. more

CHOPPED PARTS 5/5/2008

I PURCHASED A BIKE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AND I GOT A BIKE THAT HAD BONDO AN INCH THICK COVERING THE TOP OF THE GAS TANK. ONCE I REMOVED THE BONDO TO REPAINT THE TANK AND FENDERS, I WAS AMAZED AT THE TWO POORLY WELDED CRACKS IN THE TANK. I HAD NOTICED BEFORE THE I DECIDED TO PAINT THE BIKE, THAT OOZING WAS BUBBLING UP OUT OF THE PAINT JUST ALITTLE (ONE REASON I DECIDED TO PAINT IT). I TOOK THE TANK UP TO THE DEALERSHIP TO SHOW THEM WHAT THEY SOLD ME, AND THEY DIDN'T MAKE IT RIGHT. THEY ONLY WANTED TO CHARGE ME FOR A NEW TANK. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE FOR PARTS OR ANY FUTURE BIKES. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM THEM. more
