Friendly Store 3/19/2012

I have been doing business with LLF for approximately 10 years, visiting this store about once a month. I think they have the best trade policy within 30 miles. They are minorly selective with the books being traded in, that is they will not accept a certain book for trade if they already have too many of that title. They will always accept their own books back, although I personally like to swap books at different bookstores as I feel it helps the inventory turnover. Their staff is friendly, they offer to help but then back off and let you browse in comfort. They offer stools to sit and reach the upper shelves. There is also a public restroom available. more

REVIEW UPDATE 4/15/2009

I just wanted to follow up with a note on my previous review. It has been several years since I frequented this business and I and no longer attest to the quality or rating previously submitted. Unfortunately, Judy's Book will not allow me to delete or change my reviews so I am forced to add this notice. more

Smile on the phone 3/30/2009

Every time I call LLF I get a smile on my face whether they have the book I am looking for or not. WOW what friendly service. Thanks Robert more

Amazing Bookstore 7/23/2005

Long Lost Friends is one of the best bookstores I've ever been to. Not only do they carry mainstream literature, but I've found books that I've spent years looking for there. It only took one visit. Many more visits followed. Long Lost Friends is a nice change from the Barnes and Nobles of today because it provides a warm atmosphere and great selection of books. Personally, I love this place. It's a great place to go to whenever you're in dire straits and just need a good book to read. I recommend the place in case you're ever in the area. It is a great place to go and there are lots of books there on sale and discount. I bet you can find a rare book here everytime you visit! more

Long Lost Friends 7/12/2005

Long Lost Friends is a wonderful little book shop. They have such a great selection for such a small space and prices are excellent. They offer a book exchange program to make shopping even more affordable. You can find a wide range of books in your favorite genre including out of prints and hard to locates. The children’s section if great too. This makes it a kid friendly place to shop. Don’t forget to check the sidewalk sale bargain racks on your way in. Your sure to pick up a something you can‘t live without. It’s a family owned and operated store and the staff are really friendly as well as most helpful. I say two thumbs up. more
