I don't know what everyone else is talking about. I loved life long noodle when I ate there while at a conference at the Moscone Center. I agree that it can be a bit pricey but is there a food place in San Fran that isn't?? I wish I had a life long noodle on the east coast. The tomato zinger is great and my boyfriend had the fried rice which was excellent. The next day I had one of the soups that was equally as good as the food from the day before. more

Terrible Overpriced Food! 11/21/2007

I ate here with a friend of mine before a movie. My friend ordered the lemon chicken and we counted 5 pieces of chicken on his plate! His order cost nearly $12. I ordered the chow fun and the noodles weren't even cooked thoroughly. Do not expect refills on fountain sodas because they will not honor it. Overall, this place is a huge rip off and i'm truly disappointed they're getting aways with serving such horrible food. more

Returning after years, very disappointed, though one of the few places in the city offering a noodle soup by the name of Tampopo (Japanese for Dandelion, and the name of a great movie). Not too impressive really, and way too overprized ($7.75!!!). As is all the other food. Still very crowded though, due to inside Metreon and Moscone Center across the street, and therefore noisy, long lines, and packed with bully people. Not recommend. more

Worst Noodles Ever 3/5/2005

I've eaten here twice now (the second time not by choice) and all I can say is that I can't understand why this place stays in business. On my most recent visit I had the ramen which tasted like thin noodles in hot soy sauce water. My worse-than-instant ramen plus calistoga water cost me over $10! If they are going to continue to serve substandard food, I'd suggest they start charging substandard prices. Cons: Bad Food, Expensive more

Not very good 9/15/2003

they charged me twice and it took a week to straighten out and the food is terrible. We had gone with the safe bets:sweet and sour pork anf Kung Pao Shrimp. Pros: location, location, location Cons: food, service, price more

Good Lunch Spot 7/28/2003

I disagree - the food at Long Life Noodle is actually quite tasty. The Tomato Zinger is good - so are the lettuce wraps, Double Happiness etc. The staff will make exceptions so if you don't like something listed ask them to leave it out. The portions are large and if you're not starving you'll probably get two meals out of it. Pros: Good Food, Quick Cons: Can be crowded, A bit pricey more

Eat here only if you were forced to 6/22/2003

I tried the ramen and it cost me $9.00 for something that tasted worse than a pack of instant noodles you can get at the market. The produce they use is not fresh. If you HAVE to eat here, get the marco polo, it's the ONLY decent food to eat. more
