The convicted felons are back in business. Greg Cox is ripping people off again at a new company. He is partners on not only a new towing company but on a storage lot as well. The new company is in dallas and running under the name of ""Gateway Motor Ranch"". The chosen name for the new towing service is "" Rockstar Towing"". Greg Cox has found him someone to put up some revenue and is trying to put all the liscences in a gentleman named Belo and his the prior president of Lone Star Hilary Watson, who he married in December 2009.Mr. Cox spent 10 years in federal prison and was released in December of 1998 and is on 45 years of parole. He is a sorry excuse for a businessman, partner and especially father. more

These people prey on other people. If you do business with Lonestar, you will get screwed...make no mistake. more

They tow my tractor/trailer said I was ilegal parking but was no true cost me $1,300. for get back both, be carefull with this company.woundering if somebody can do something and stop them, they can't towing cars,truck,etc... just because they want somebody should do something. more

They just had their license revoked for scamming tows at Fair Park. At the OU Game, they had guys in orange vests directing people to park in specific areas. Then they would go back and tow the car for parking on private property. Pros: They're out of business. Cons: They're racketeers. more

OUR TRUCK WAS RECENTLY TOWED FROM THE FLYING J IN DALLAS. MIND YOU IT IS ONLY 14 MILES! THIS COMPANY MADE 2 TRIPS TO TOW IT AND CHARGED US 1253.00!! THEY SAID IT WAS PARKED IN A RED ZONE. THIS TRUCK WAS PARKED BETWEEN 2 TRUCKS WHICH WAS ALSO TOWED SO IF IT WAS A RED ZONE YOU COULD NOT SEE IT. OUR DRIVER SAYS HE DID NOT SEE NO PARKING SIGNS. IN CHECKING OUR TRUCK WAS NOT THE ONLY ONE TOWED! THEY HAD THEMSELVES A FIELD DAY ON TOWING TRUCKS FROM THIS PARTICULAR FLYING J!! WONDER WHAT KIND OF PERCENT OR AS I WOULD SAY KICKBACK FLYING J IS GETTING ON THIS. YOU WOULD THINK THEY ARE MAKING ENOUGH ON DIESEL THAT THEY WOULD NOT BE PART OF THIS!!! SO DONT STOP AT THE FLYING J UNLESS YOU WANT TO GO AND DEAL WITH THESE VERY RUDE AND RIP OFF TOWING COMPANY. IN CHECKING IT LOOKS LIKE THEIR V.S.F. LICENSE IS ALSO EXPIRED. This company told the car which I already sold long time ago , after I received the letter I made contact with them and a lady in office told my that should be OK I dont need to worry about that . Now they try to sent your information to collection to collect the money from me which car I not belong to me .Finally I will join a law suite involve a false statement of this company . They towed my car from my apartment complex because - they said - my tags were expired. Except my tags were not expired, and there was no reason for the car to be towed. After four hours of phone calls, they agreed to bring my car back to me. They brought back the wrong car. Completely incompetent, and I never even got an apology. If I didn't have to give them at least one star, I'd give them negative stars. Pros: none. Cons: Incompetent, unhelpful, wrong. more

It's amazing that this company just had their license revoked, but they are still trying to ""steal"" my car. I was stickered again today! I called the company and they put me on hold, no one answered. I called channel 11 and they are coming out to investigate. I think we all need to call a class action lawyer! My car was towed and damaged from this business. Upon reading the right of indiviuals, it says that when I pay I should get a claim form. I was never presented the claim form and had to ask several times for it. They kept asking me how do I know its damaged. the rights also said to turn it in there. When I tried to give it to the cashier he told me to mail it. Knowing I would never get a response, or get help fixing my car from this shady dealer, i asked him to tell me that again on my cell phone video camera. He gave me a rude gesture and would not talk to me again. The indivual behind me was worried about it and told him if he didnt get a claim form now he wouldnt sign it and the cashier told him dont sign you dont get your car. I think if they were legit they would be will to help u fill out forms and take pictures. Pros: security low 10 year old can circumvent it Cons: not trustworthy more
