I've stayed here with my wife on several occasions and we couldn't have been more impressed with our stay. The location is perfect, right in the middle of town, with a well-situated outdoor bar ideal for people watching. The Inn itself is one of the oldest in North America, and has tastefully decorated and extremely luxurious rooms with every possible amenity. The best part, however, is the restaurant.\r \r We had eaten here previously when we were in town, and we were really impressed with the new Mediterranean menu and the creatively prepared dishes that were clearly created from fresh and absolutely top quality ingredients. We ate lunch - try the Seared Octopus - and enjoyed the food and the ""Fine Wines of Beer"" menu so much we returned a few days later to sample the five-course dinner with wine pairing. The owner came out and explained the wine pairing, and was clearly a real enthusiast of fine dining and exceptional wines. The service was excellent and the food delicious! more

I am a Lambertville, NJ resident. We take a lot of pride in recommending our restaurants to our friends and family. I however have to say that I had one of the best experiences on a Sunday afternoon at the Logan Inn in New Hope, PA. My girlfriend and I were on our way to see a show at the Bucks County Playhouse and we decided to have lunch at Nikola's (new restaurant at the Logan Inn). This place is very close to the play house and located right on river road. I ordered the Caribbean Salad and it was one of the best salads I have had in a very long time. Fresh Apricots coupled with an assortment of lettuce and fruit, accompanied with shrimp that was dusted with an unbelievably delicious rub. The open air restaurant allows you to people watch when you are not concentrating on the delicious food. If and when you decide to visit New Hope make sure to stop here and grab a bite to eat. You will not be disappointed. more

My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend in this charming Inn celebrating our 37th anniversary. We've stayed in New Hope many times but this was our first at the Inn. We stayed in room 15 and were very pleased by the comfortable bed and special ammenities.\r The staff was very friendly and the central location was most convenient. Brunch was also\r awesome. Great Experience. more

Celebrated our friends’ anniversary last Sunday at Logan Inn. Three couples stayed overnight, taking advantage of the Sunday Special Rate. Each couple received a $50 voucher for our dinner that night, included with our room rate. The Inn is so charming and comfortable with top-notch amenities like French-milled soap and gourmet coffee in the rooms. We ate all our meals at the Logan and Nikolas restaurant and spent a lot of time at the outside bar - in between shopping excursions on the North and South sides of town. It was like staying at a mini-resort! So much to do… So much fun… Can’t wait to do it again for OUR anniversary! Thank you Maggie, Sheri, and Hollene! more

Tried the new restaurant at the Logan Inn, Nikolas. I was soooo glad I did. I've eaten at almost every place in New Hope and while I find them all good, I'm not inclined to rave about a place simply because it performs the way it should. However, when a restaurant outperform all the others, I feel they deserve a bit of a rave. Every aspect of the experience was well worth it. They provide parking, which is always an issue in New Hope, and several different dining options. I had made a reservation and found my table waiting for me when I arrived. We were seated on the outdoor terrace and had a wonderful view of the town going by. The wine list is the best I've ever seen by far. We ordered from the prix fixe offers and received delicious meals. We especially liked the crab cake in phyllo entree and the charred shrimp were nothing short of extraordinary! The service was a group effort and went like clockwork. Keep up the great work!! more

My wife had never been to New Hope before and when I found The Logan Inn online I decided to surprise her with an overnight stay and dinner at Nikolas. From the moment we arrived I knew I made the right decision. The room was cozy and clean, the staff was very friendly and our dinner at Nikolas was one of the best meals we have had. more

Recently my husband and I spent a night at the Logan Inn in New Hope, PA. The front desk staff was welcoming and professional and started off a perfect evening for us. We checked into room 16 which was painted such a relaxing shade of blue and overlooked Main Street New Hope and the river in the distance. The room was clean and well appointed with a spacious on-suite bathroom that had all the amenities you could need. more

Wow, The Logan Inn is just wonderful. My husband and I stayed at the Logan for our anniversary and it was fantastic. The accommodations are absolutely charming and luxurious. We loved learning about the historical significance. Our celebration was topped off with an excellent meal at Nikolas Restaurant. We indulged and went with the Chef's Tasting menu and boy was it a treat. The Bronzini was our favorite, incredibly flavorful and the wine pairings were spectacular. The staff was incredibly attentive, the GM, Maggie went out of her way to accommodate us and ensure we had an extravagant celebration. We can't wait to return next year! more

My group of friends and I went to Nikolas Restaurant at the Logan Inn this past weekend and it was a great time. We had lunch on the outdoor patio. The air was a bit chilly but with the heaters on it was nice to finally sit outside and enjoy a great meal. We were a little unsure about sitting outside, but we were re-assured we would have a nice warm spot. We had great drinks, and everyone's lunch was piping hot and delicious. Our services was outstanding, very attentive. What a great time. We will surely be back. more

Had a special occasion to celebrate and decided to have a nice dinner at Nikolas restaurant at the Logan Inn. In a town that as many, many great restaurants, Nikolas stands out for its fine menu and service. The wine list is amazing and convenient with a fabulous wine dispenser. The outside dinning area was very comfortable and our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. Everything together worked well to make the evening a memorable one. Kudos to the kitchen and staff!! We will definitely be coming back often. more

The Logan Inn is a wonderful place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. My wife and I like to come here to hang out and also appreciate good food.\r \r We've enjoyed their steak and burgers before, and this time, we enjoed fish and lobster tails. They were scrumptious and gratifying.\r \r I'm not much of a beer connoisseur, but I ended up liking their Belgian beer selection too.\r \r And you can't go wrong with any of the desserts. Personally, I savor the bread pudding with coffee.\r \r Their band music adds to the ambiance, and the staff is magnificent. They always make us feel welcome and are quite attentive to our needs. more

The Inn offers several tiers of four course prix fixe menus, with or without wine pairings, as well as a chef's tasting menu. The Terrace menu is quite appealing with their small plate or large plate offerings depending on whether you wanted to munch your way through with varied small plates or choose a favorite as a main course, the Terrace also has casual dining offerings, such as a burger. more

, they have a really great mussels appetizer. The tomato sauce makes it! If you need to plan a party here, contact Jason. He was really helpful in helping me plan a bachelorette party. more

We had dinner with another couple on Sunday night at Nikolas Logan's Inn and selected the $35 fixed price menu which included appetizer, salad, entree and dessert. OMG, everything from fried brie and fruit and clams appetizer, salad and fish entrees and dessert options were out of this world. Wait staff service was superior to just about any place we've ever been to in Mercer County, let alone anywhere in Lambertville and New Hope. I highly recommend the place. more

This restaurant is top-notch. I've eaten here numerous times and I always get a sumptuous meal and attentive service. They obviously use top-notch ingredients and everything I've eaten here as been exceptional. The ambiance and location are excellent, and the outdoor bar is always hopping in warm weather. I'd recommend the Logan Inn to anyone! more

The service was excellent. We were greeted immediately and our server met us as well. Very prompt and polite. Good selection of beers and they have a number of Belgian beers. A big plus for me. The Kobe burger was excellent. A definite place to visit again. more

Had reservations for Christmas Eve requesting a table by the window, arrived 5 min early and were seated immediately right by the giant outdoor Christmas tree and were told the light show would begin in a few minutes - this was a surprise! Service was impeccable, server was very knowledgable and made excellent recommendations. We had the 8oz. S. African cold water lobster tails topped with 8oz. of lump crab served with fresh steamed veggies and a mix of wild and white rice. We both agreed this was one of the best lobster meals we've ever eaten. Cocktails and appetizer (clams casino) were amazing. All food was cooked to perfection. Tables were not crowded together, atmosphere was warm and romantic. We can't wait to go back again soon! more

Great food! 3/26/2012

Was there with friends. It was my first trip to New Hope, Pennsylvania. It is such a nice, friendly little town. The Logan Inn has pleasant staff that really makes you feel welcomed. The bar is cosy and the live music is pretty nice. The dining area is well decorated and spacious. The tables are not too close to each other so you do have a good space and privacy. Once seated at the table, you can still hear a little music from the bar which I find very pleasing as their music choice is soothing. We were able to try a lot of dishes on the menu and they were all delicious and came in good portion. I recommend their whole fish dishes. The dishes came with vegetables and a good portion of rice, a very healthy choice for anyone who?s health conscious. I also liked their desserts, which were also very good and not too sweet. I?d recommend you have them with their nice coffee or tea. Overall, I had great time and the Logan Inn is a place you should definitely visit while you are in New Hope or just passing by. You will leave with a happy smile on your face. more

awesome atmosphere inside and outside 11/21/2006

Heat lamps burn throughout the colder months, allowing this nearly year round establishment have guests outside for drinks into the evening hours. The inside is a very old, historic inn that's supposed to be haunted... The food is excellent and the menu changes frequently to allow for a sampling of something new every time you visit! more
