I've stayed here with my wife on several occasions and we couldn't have been more impressed with our stay. The location is perfect, right in the middle of town, with a well-situated outdoor bar ideal for people watching. The Inn itself is one of the oldest in North America, and has tastefully decorated and extremely luxurious rooms with every possible amenity. The best part, however, is the restaurant.\r

We had eaten here previously when we were in town, and we were really impressed with the new Mediterranean menu and the creatively prepared dishes that were clearly created from fresh and absolutely top quality ingredients. We ate lunch - try the Seared Octopus - and enjoyed the food and the ""Fine Wines of Beer"" menu so much we returned a few days later to sample the five-course dinner with wine pairing. The owner came out and explained the wine pairing, and was clearly a real enthusiast of fine dining and exceptional wines. The service was excellent and the food delicious!
