John Gerard, GREAT men's haircut 9/5/2010

It is truly difficult to find someone who can offer short men's haircuts by hand. (I hate buzzers). John not only gives a great haircut, but is patient. You never feel rushed. The salon overall has a fun vibe. Feels modern and luxe, but far from pretentious. Highly recommend! more

Stacey is amazing! 9/4/2010

I have very difficult hair and I knew something was just wrong with the cut from my previous hairdresser. I went to Stacey and she immediately impressed me. She was patient and knowledgable. She knew immediately how to fix it and gave me a clean and classy look.\r \r She is more than just a stylist - she's a fabulous teacher. She taught me how to easily create loose curls and was patient as I put all the directions into my blackberry. \r \r I would highly recomend her and will definately be returning. more

Should Win an Award... 9/3/2010

These guys are so talented, and they make the overall experience fun (even for dudes). I go to John Griffin - he's the guy who knows how to do everything having to do with hair. Not only has he been styling my hair for over two years...very well...I've sent my wife over, my mother-in-law and some random stragglers in my life. They all come back raving about his work. Loren is also a really good color person - and the ambiance is warm and fun while staying professional. They also offer spa services that I've only used once, but was really happy with. I highly recommend this place, and John in particular. more

Stacey Lyn and team have mastered the perfect hair cut, color, trial and make up. Stacey Lyn discussed my wedding day and spend time with me to talk about my needs and also ordered beautiful extensions for my hair. Loft 26 transformed me into a glam bride-to-be. Best colorist on the east and west coast 2/19/2010

I have been going to Shane Thomas for years. He was my stylist in SF and I was soo sad when he left for NYC,when I moved to new York I tracked his ass down. He is that good. I am very particular about my hair and I ALWAYS leave happy. You should go to Shane, and this salon.good stuff. more

Amazing stylists/environment 1/14/2010

Loft 26 is an amazing salon, and Stacey Weinstein, the owner, is an incredibly talented stylist. The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. I recently took a ""blow dry lesson"" from Stacey, and it was very helpful and fun to learn how to blow dry like a pro. I highly recommend this salon! more

Outstanding facials 12/21/2009

Jamie's facials are thorough, relaxing, and result in glowing skin. She is accommodating and helpful with scheduling and advice. I have been seeing her for many months on a regular basis and have experienced great improvements in my skin. The Environ products are amazing as well, and there isn't any selling pressure to purchase a bunch of unnecessary items. Pros: Jamie Carson + Environ products more

I have been to many salons around the city but Loft 26 makes me feel at home. Not only is Janet talented with hair and makeup she is attentive to my wants and is able to achieve the look that I aim for even when I cannot communicate the style to the fullest. I always leave feeling more confident and beautiful with my new look! So happy to be a part of Loft 26 and something so great! more

Great Experience - Hair & Facial 11/21/2009

Loft 26 is a tremendous place for lots of things. I had been visiting John and Loren for quite awhile before they moved their skilled hands to Loft 26, and the move seemed to energize both of them. John is a skilled stylist for men and women, and Loren is great with color. I even tried my first facial here - Jaime took good care of me and the whole thing didn't even make me feel less hetero ;). In fact, it felt great. I recommend John Griffin for anyone looking for a passionate, skillful stylist. My wife thinks the world of John and he's always a pleasure to visit. Loren is also wonderful - full of talent to go with her great sense of humor. The decor immediately puts me in a calm place - someone clearly knew what he/she was doing when designing the interior. I give this place five stars and would encourage all you readers out there to book an appointment~! :) Pros: Ambience, skillful stylists Cons: Hm. None. more

I finally found Shane and Noelle! 9/19/2009

I was so upset when I called The Christopher Stanley Salon to be told that Shane and Noelle no longer worked there! No one that I spoke to there had any idea of how I could locate them either, but luckily after a few phone calls to friends I tracked them down. The cut and color was perfect as always, and their new home is beautiful with a relaxed atmosphere. I'm so glad I found them again! Pros: wonderful cut and color more

Great place for a facial 9/7/2009

Jaime is my aesthetician. She is great. She is very knowledgeable about the machines/treatments as well as the products she uses; she pays attention to what you say to ensure that the products and/or treatments do not damage your skin. She is quiet when I need to rest/relax and is great to chat with when I'm in the mood to chat. I get a facial once a month and always leave with fabulous skin - my friends are amazed at how long the facial seems to hold (roughly three weeks). Best Facial in Town 8/29/2009

Dana Chasen was recommended to me by a friend who has tried dozens of facialists across the US and says that Dana is hands-down the best. I highly recommend her Lumilight Facial with Enzymes -- it's pricy, but even my boyfriend noticed how much better it made my skin look! It somehow manages to shrink pores, firm the skin, and just make my skin look fresher, younger, and healthier. It is also a nice plus that Dana is extremely sweet and fun to chat with! i always get a little bijiggity when i go to get my hair done...crazy, I know but i like my hair long. Well, my nerves subsided the second i walked into Loft 26. The staff was warm and welcoming and the space was amazing! Loren did my highlights. She transformed me into gorgeous blonde-perfectly sun kissed highlights! Then, came the true test, my cut with John. He layered my hair with such precision. The layers gave my fine hair volume. I <3 it! I have been a client of Dana for years. She truly works miracles. She is up to date on all the latest skin care but is never pushy. Every facial I have with Dana is different because she customizes it to how my skin is behaving! I only worry that she is going to get so popular I won’t be able to get an appointment! Beautiful new salon for skin, hair, and makeup! 7/29/2009

My skin therapist Dana is a lifesaver! The fabulous cutting edge treatments and product lines she recommends have worked wonders improving my dry, sun damaged, aging skin. I have worked with Dana for years; I love that she is always training and continuing her education and is the most knowledgeable esthetician I've ever met. Since Dana can always answer my skin care questions, and explain how products and treatments work, I never feel like I am throwing money away hoping for results. Dana is also the only person I trust to shape my brows. She mostly only tweezes and has helped me grow my brows back into a gorgeous shape! Pros: Great pros work here! more

I was so excited for my first experience at her new salon, Loft 26, and I was not disappointed. The space is cool, chic, and relaxing. Dana is GREAT with men's skin 7/27/2009

I'm a guy in my mid 20's who tends to have oily skin and breakouts caused by stress and limited time/knowledge to apply to my skin care... Dana has always recommend great products for my skin and it has improved GREATLY since I've been following her skin care recommendations. She has also been great at helping clean up my rather bushy eyebrows with a tweezer while still keeping them natural looking. I'd recommend Dana to anyone! Pros: Great with skin care for stressed young professionals Cons: none! more
