I went to Local 11 Ten a couple of months ago and was pretty disappointed. I had made a reservation but was made to wait once I arrived, despite the fact that tables were open. I asked about it and was told those tables (same size as what I needed) were ""being held for reservations."" Apparently a different type of reservation than the type I had made. \r

The wine list is interesting and extensive but on the high-priced side; I don't think there are any bottles for less than $40. The appetizer was delicious and the bread a wonder, but then we waited an hour between courses. We constantly had to wave down a staffer for service, and often our server was nowhere to be seen. We had to inquire about the whereabouts of our dinner. (They said it would be ""right out,"" but we waited another twenty minutes.) Once it arrived, the food was, again, very good.\r

A mixed bag. I think if I go back it will be to sample appetizers from the bar, not to try to have a relaxing (or, even more challenging, romantic) dinner.
Pros: Delicious food, cool design in bar and restaurant.
Cons: Awful service, hour wait between courses, snotty reception.
