Young crowd...mostly barely out of college (if that). People there are rude and it is a meat market. Pros: good music Cons: Young crowd, Inexperience Crowd

Its LowDO! 6/29/2004

Maybe LODO makes sense for those in college, coz' I remember when LODO was up and in the making-it was the hotspot. Now, forgetaboutit. You positively have to be early to every bar spot to sit outside and watch 2 yr olds that cannot handle liquor! Its unfunny how men sit around in their disgruntle cliques and don't offer a seat for anything. Besides the crowded sweatiness of it all, there seems to be an ecclectic group to look at! Tossed hair, starched collar shirts and sandles makes it all so comforted with Denverites! more

Fun in LoDo 11/8/2002

Downtown Denver has a lot to offer. If you like bars, pool, and breweries, LoDo is the right spot. You can catch public transit (RTD buses and Light Rail) to downtown, and walk to LoDo with ease. Catch a ballgame in the summer, and cool off at the Breckenridge Brewery, The Broadway Brewery, or Crocks on 16th and Market. Croc's has some of the best Mexican in Denver. (The margaritas flow pretty liberally, too) Not far from LoDo is the 16th Street Mall with it's free shuttle buses and numerous shopping experiences. At the Opposite end is the Denver Pavilions Area with the Hard Rock, Wolfgang Puck's, and other high end fun. Check out the Clubs around LoDo: El Chapultepec has Jazz. Plus all of the fun of Larimer Square. Pros: Bars, Sports, Food Cons: Parking more

  • In Short
