I've used Lizon Tailors for almost 15 years. I used to go to the dry cleaners in the same plaza. They weren't that great, but the tailor's shop next door has always been excellent. Al Ozer really knows his clothes and fabrics, too. One time I bought a brand new Zegna suit made in Italy from super 120's wool. Mr. Ozer did a complete alteration and when I picked it up, he asked me how much it was, curious because it was so beautifully made. He could tell when he opened up the Bemberg lining. I asked him what he thought it sold for, and he said ""around $1800"". The tag was $1795. He really knows his stuff, and so I drive from Westwood near UCLA all the way to Palms to see him. He could move to south of the airport and I'd still go to him!
Pros: quality work, inexpensive, ready on time
