I was craving Thai food tonight and could not find any Thai restaurants open nearby. Lucky for me Little Thai is open until 10. When I called in at 9:55 they said that they coul...

This place used to be my favorite but started to decline over the last few months.

Inexpensive, enjoyable food 3/9/2006

I've been to Little Thai many times over the past seven or eight years, and it's always been quite pleasant. While it is frequently packed for lunch, there isn't much of a dinner rush - but then, it's cheaper at lunch time too, and you get basically the same amount of food (but a little cup of soup or salad comes with your lunch). The spicy noodles and phad thai are both pretty good. The big noodles with Thai sauce have been recommended to me a lot, but I've never gotten around to trying them. The pumpkin custard for dessert is also good, as is the black sticky rice pudding. more

Very Good Food 8/19/2005

This place is kind of a hole in the wall place just behind the Ave. The food is awesome and so is the price. I recommend the big noodles with thai sauce, I pretty much get this every time I come here. Just like other restaurants around the University district it gets pretty busy. Try to get here a couple mins before 12 to get a table. more

good thai noodles 8/5/2005

I have to admit that it's rare that a Thai restaurant really stands out from the others I've been to, and this one is no exception - but that's not a bad thing. The food has been consistently good when I've been here. It's a good place to come for a bowl of noodles, or Thai curries vegetables on rice. more

My oh my, try the Thai seafood 9/3/2004

Little Thai is without a doubt my favorite Thai restaurant - all because of their excellent seafood dishes. Unlike most local Thai places, which limit their seafood selection to "prawns", they also have mussels, scallops, and wonderful baked fish dishes. They also have decent service, the atmosphere isn't unpleasent, and prices are about $20 - 25 for a meal for two. But it's the food which sells this place. If you don't like seafood, try the Masala Curry. It's the only thing my fiance ever gets there. Personally, I recommend the baked fish - you will have about eight different choices. There is an excellent selection of beef, chicken, and vegetarian food as well. For a beverage, their Thai tea is excellent - I ask them to make mine with coconut milk instead of half-and-half. more
