Don't care for this type of BBQ. Try Billy Bobs in Fort Worth, TX.

Fire Damaged! 1/2/2010

Don't just drive by! Little Pigs caught fire and burned again late 2009 and may or may not be rebuilt. Last time I drove by, the tarp was still covering the hole in the roof. It's happened before and they rebuilt, so I expect them to rise again! Wish them well!! more

  • Little Pigs Barbecue opened its doors in February of 1962 at 2822 Rosewood Drive in Columbia, SC as the 31st franchise of Little Pigs of America, based in Memphis Tennessee.

    In early 1965, Little Pigs of America filed for bankruptcy and the Columbia operation changed its operating name to the Little Bar-B-Q Hut. It continued to operate under that name until June of 1978 at which time it moved to its current location at 4927 Alpine Road in Columbia, SC.

    From the small counter service with a seating capacity of 36, it transitioned into a large buffet service with a seating capacity of 160, back under the Little Pigs Barbecue name.
