Get ther while you can, The Little Holland Drive inn is closing it's doors on July 25th and the building is being demolished. We eat there maybe every couple of weeks and love there burgers. We call in our order and it's ready when I get there. If they are very busy they take the phone off the hood. They will be open July 16th, 17th, 18th, 22nd, 23rd, 24th and 25th then they close possibly for good. They are talking about maybe re-opening somewhere in a year or so. Sure hope they do. I'm really gonna miss them!! Pros: Awesome burgers and Fries Cons: They are closing July 25th more

Im not a burger person but I LOVE this place! 2/16/2009

SOOO good and soo worth waiting (even in the winter.) I dont eat much beef or necessarily enjoy eating hamburgers. But I always see this place packed so I thought I would give it a try...AWESOME!!! more

Pretty Darned Good Burger 1/10/2009

Finally made it to the Little Holland on one of the days they were open. Ordered the Big Mike with an order of fries. The burger was outstanding and the fries were some of the best I've ever had. The burger was nice and juicy with swiss cheese, canadian bacon, and just enough lettuce, onion, tomato and special sauce to make it memorable. The fries were hot and fresh and cooked a little more on the brown side...just the way I love them! An order of fries is advertised as ""about a 1/2 pound"" and they weren't kidding. I can eat a large meal and I could not finish what I ordered! Didn't try the custard or a fresh made shake, but that will be on the list for next time. Pros: Great food, plentiful for a good price. Cons: Takes some time but worth it. Not much parking and no indoor waiting. more

Best hamburgers in Tacoma! 11/5/2008

I love Mikie Burger! the only bummer is that is only open Wednesday through Saturday. But it is a great place to eat! it is a lot faster if you call in your order and pick it up versus going and ordering there! more

Best burger in the USA? Maybe, I have only visited 40 states. 9/30/2008

A legend among Puget Sound area burgers. The little Mikie is one of the best burgers you will ever have the pleasure of eating. I've travelled all over and nothing comes close to it. As for local 'competition' there is none. Frisco Freeze is decent but nowhere near as good, and D1ck''s up in Seattle? Pfffft. (stupid word filter) more

OUTSTANDING, BURGERS,FRIES & MILKSHAKES, NOT fast food, but worth the wait, just follow the crowd of returning customers . I have traveled all thru the North west and NO ONE comes close to this burger stand, from Spokane, Yakima, & Seattle. Tacoma has a real winner in this one. Outside seating, always crowds of people that know good food!!! Highly Recommend! Pros: great food, inexpensive, great value Cons: small parking lot more

Loved IT! 3/27/2006

I never had such a fresh and BIG burger that tasted so good. It took a little longer to get our food but it was worth the wait. Loved the onion rings and my butterscotch shake. Will be back!!!!! Pros: friendly service, good food, large helpings Cons: parking more

Unsatisfactory 3/3/2006

Based on the City Search review, I visited Little Holland. I was disappointed. My order was filled wrong, the burger was cold and the shake was watery. I won't go again. more

Nice to give extended holiday 11/25/2005

I decided to surprise my husband with a little trip for what I hoped to be a great 'ole burger. We went on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It took us over an hour to drive there only to find that they were closed for an extended Thanksgiving holiday and would not reopen until November 30th! Wow, now that is an extended holiday for a restaurant. I should also mention that they are closed on Sundays and Mondays anyway. I have to say that it is nice for the employees/owners but not for those who make the long drive to try it out. I don't think I will every know how wonderful their menu is there is too much competition out there and it was a long drive for them to be closed on a Saturday! More Bang For The Buck 6/15/2005

The best hamburgers and fries this side of the equator. The staff calls you to the counter by name. It makes you feel like a part of the family. With inexpensive prices and tons of fries, large mouth watering burger, and a cherry pop to wash it all down. Some of the best burgars and a ton of fries. I bet you cant finish a small fry! The only seating is out doors but 99% of people get it to go anyways.
