I'd highly recommend Dr. Margaret Hutchison of the Seattle ObGyn Group. I find her and her staff really caring and good. The number for their office is (206) 682-5800. It's hard work to find a health care provider that you like -- one that fits with your needs and life (not to mention insurance and location and hours!). Good luck! more

I became pregnant at an age where the odds of having a down syndrome baby are greater. With new technology offered by this clinic, you can now get an ultrasound, when combined with a blood test, will tell you more specifically what your odds are. For example, if according to your maternal age you have a 1 in 200 chance of having a baby with down syndrome, this test will narrow down your odds to determine whether or not you need further testing, such as an amniocentesis. It might tell you that your odds are now 1 in 20,000 or it might tell you that your odds are 1 in 75. I highly recommend visiting this clinic. more

The BEST ob ever! 7/7/2005

Dr. Johnson is great. She is a very laid back, warm, and thorough doctor which is just what I needed when I was pregnant. Her staff is also very friendly and will promptly return your calls. What I also admire about Dr. Johnson is that she too is a mother with young children and works part-time. So you will have to deal with the minor incovenience of having an OB who is only available 3x a week, but that was a price I was willing to pay. She wasn't on-duty when I delivered, but she was the next day, and she stopped by chat. Visits with her were often like chatting with a girlfriend. I recommend Dr. Johnson to all my girlfriends. more
