I have been going to the Lisa Ross Birth & Women's Ctr since March of 07 for prenatal care & at first, due to the information given, I was hook, line, & sinker. They also appeared to be very great the first appointment.. since then it's gotten a little worse every appointment. They blow me off about every concern or problem I have.. mind you I've had very very few problems, so I don't bother them like a hypochondriac at all times! I've been experiencing blackouts on a regular basis for about 5 months & all they say is 'it's normal'. That seems to be their automated response to everything. They say it's all normal! I love how they ask me if I have any questions at the end of each appointment.. I might, if I knew what to ask.. but considering from day 1 I've told them I have NO idea what I'm doing, being a young first time mom & all, & just basically need to know everything, they tell me NOTHING! They were supposed to get me a referral to 2 separate doctors for 2 separate issues & the first one took about 2 weeks, the second took over a month.. just for them to do the referral.. let alone schedule the appointment & wait for that time to come. On the phone they literally told me 'they forgot' & said they'd do it but I still had to call twice after that to remind them. They are simply ridiculous. I also told them I have issues with the father & they asked if I was being abused & I replied no, & so the nurse shrugged her shoulders & started quizzing me about something else.. as if the only way it would become a priority was if I was being physically abused. I just think they are absolutely ridiculous & if I weren't almost 33 weeks I'd switch in a heartbeat. They're so bad I'm considering showing up at another hospital to deliver just so I don't have to have anything to do with them! There's much, much more.. but I'll just leave it at these few examples. I'm not sure how this site works, this is my first visit, but if you are able to ask me questions I'd be more than happy to answer them.
