We took stuff in about 3 weeks before a Christmas party to get a dress and jacket altered....they guaranteed it would be ready in time. I made sure they knew we needed it no later than that because we were moving the next day out of state (we are military). Again, they assured me it would not be a problem. I went on the ""to-be-done-by"" day to pick up my stuff and it had not even be touched since we dropped it off. I would like to say this was the first time my stuff was not ready on-time, but it was not...hence the making sure they knew we needed it on that date. So there I was 3 hours before the Christmas party with my dress and the TWO pins she had put in it. Needless to say I was a little on the angry side and asked why it wasn't done, and what am I to do now. The lady behind the desk told me ""it's not their responsibility to have stuff done on time....how dare I be upset and show a lack of compassion for them."" I asked her why I didn't get called that my stuff was not going to be ready on time and she said ""what to you expect me to do? Call every person that has stuff here and tell them ALL it won't be ready. I don't care if your outfit is for a special event. Your 2 items not being ready is not going to ruin your life and you never coming here again is not going to ruin our business.""
