Dr. Patel is the best! 4/26/2010

I have seen Dr. Patel for over 10 years, and she is the greatest physician I have ever met. I work in healthcare and I am amazed by her! She is very knowledgeable, personable and caring. She will spend quality time with her patients. You may wait a few extra minutes in the waiting room, but she will spend that extra time with you! She has helped me physically and mentally. She definitely will tell it like it is! I appreciate that! She does it with tact and confidence. I see her for everything from a common cold to my annual exams. Her nurse, Nicki is wonderful. She is such a sweet and caring professional. She's also fun and keeps you laughing! I highly recommend Dr. Patel. As would my family and friends. We all see her! :) Pros: extended hours, appointment availability more

Long wait, Excessive charges 10/22/2009

Dr. Lifshen himself seemed like a courteous and professional enough guy. He was recommended by another doctor. The problems are the practice in general, the wait, the staff, and the charges. I waited almost an hour to be called from the waiting room. It was another 15-20 minutes before I actually saw the doctor. The staff seemed pretty apathetic. But the thing that got me irritated was when they charged me $10 every time I need a prescription refill to be authorized! I've never heard of ANY doctor office doing that. So every time Walgreens faxes them a refill authorization, I get mailed an invoice for another $10. That's ridiculous. No wonder healthcare is out of whack. Pros: Competent doctor Cons: Office staff, long wait, excessive charges more

A Blessing! 7/16/2008

Dr. Hanley is awesome! Anytime I've been in the office she is very patient, listens to what I have to say, and is extremely thorough. I always feel like she is truly concerned with my well being and other patients as well. When I first moved to Austin I was dreading having to find a new doctor, however a coworker of mine recommended Dr. Hanley. I am so glad she did! I am super thankful, relieved, and blessed to have found such a great doctor right away. I never have to wait super long and have never felt intimidated like I usually do with other doctors. She's extremely down to earth. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Dr. Patricia Hanley. more

Best Family Doctor - I highly recommend her! 7/7/2008

Dr. Hanley has been our family doctor for over 7 years now. She is an AWESOME person and a wonderful physician. She is in all sense of the word, a Family Doctor. My husband and two grown sons even use her as thier primary doctor. We love her. She is patient, listens, respects you and she even tries to get to know your lifestyle so that what ever she recommends, it will be suited for YOU! I highly recommend and trust her, she will continue to be our Family Doctor forever more, without a doubt. Pros: She is down to earth and cares! Cons: The practice is getting large - but that is not necessarily a bad thing! more

Dr. Patricia Hanley 4/1/2008

Dr Hanley has been my daughters doctor for 10 years-she is wonderful. Even though she only sees my girls once or so a year she remembers them and never talks down to them -or me. I have and will continue to recommend Dr Hanley to anyone. more

Very thorough, caring doctor 10/24/2007

Dr. Hanley is extremely thorough and patient. While she can occasionaly run late because of it, she is one of the few doctors I have found that will really listen to your symptoms and your thoughts on them with out jumping to a diagnosis to get you out the door. She is not afraid to try outside of the box thinking medication and alternative routes. She has been able to explain a couple of things to me that everyone else tried to write off as the obvious, even when treatments didn't work. It is refreshing to find a doctor that really listens to you. Pros: parking, staff, practice, able to turn around appointments quickly Cons: location, waiting time more

Not a good idea. 10/15/2007

Dr. Hanley is unprofessional and has no time for her patients. She treats people with utter disrespect. There are plenty of people within who her group who are better qualified to be your doctor than her. more
