Great place for kids! 9/1/2005

The Liberty Science Center is one of those wonderful hands-on science museums. It really is geared towards children so teenages may not find it that much fun. It is a great place to take the family, school groups, etc. There are wonderful educational programs and rotating exhibits. more

Really fun place 8/16/2005

This is a great science museum for everyone. They have everything from Robots to the Human body to the environment to a HUGE IMAX theater. I have been here several times and have loved it every single time. Every few months, they have a new area to check out. The IMAX Theater is very bug and is great. They do have pretty high admission tickets, but a membership is a good idea. You can use that membership at over 500 locations in the US. This a fun place for everyone. more

Liberty Science 8/8/2005

I took my three year old to this museum but was not impressed compared to other science museum. The IMAX video about The Nile was very good, but you can get IMAX anywhere. The exhibits were boring and not very interactive for the very young children. You can probably go through the whole museum in 3 hours. AAA offers a measly discount. I would not go here again. Only thing I liked was the rock climbing wall. Also, the cafeteria is horrible and overpriced more

Informative and Fun for Children 7/29/2005

Liberty Science Center is a great place to bring your children and day and time of the year. The Science Center has lots of hands on activities that children will have fun trying and more importantly they will learn from this experience. The insect section has insects that kids can touch and learn about. When I visited there was a entire sectioon on the heart that showed how the heart works and what it looked like. Kids really like it here because it is "hands on." The attendants are very helpful and will guide you, answer questions, and spend time talking with the children helping them learn. It was very easy to get to with plenty of parkling. The park outside is nice too. This is really a fun learning experience whether you come alone, with your family, or even in large groups. more

Pricey but well worth it 6/17/2005

The admission price for Liberty Science Center is high, but it is worth it. You can spend a very full day here exploring all the exhibits and seeing a movie at the IMAX theater. Their featured exhibits change frequently. This is a great place to take kids or anyone who likes to be hands on; they have lots of exhibits that let you conduct experiments. more
