Editorial review from Citysearch 12/19/2013

I have heard from yet another person how bad the service is now at this clinic. It used to be great but now apparently has turned into a price gouging practice where the almighty dollar matters the most. Seriously, $200 visit for an enema and some fluids? My friend was very upset and eventually had to put his cat to sleep for another $200. I would not recommend going there. The doctor treats the staff badly and clients just as bad. She badmouths the former staff to clients. She doesn't seem to realize that Lexington is a small town and people hear what she says about her staff and her clients. No wonder that parking lot is so empty! more

I am SO glad I switched vets. AVOID 9/10/2007

A Complete Nightmare!! 2/26/2007

This place is literally the most expensive and unprofessional place in Central Kentucky. Their prices are 2 to 3 times that of a normal, adequate vet. One significant mark of a bad business is ""extra packages"" or ""extra charges"" that are pawned off on you that are completely unnecessary. Alice, the vet, uses a lot of scare tactics with your animal, knowing that people care deeply about their pets and are willing to spend a lot of money to maintain their pet's health. The scam is rooted in the fact that many of the procedures used are so excessive and unrelated to the true nature of the pet's ailment, it almost constitutes fraud. My cat will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!
