Fun, Free and Fitness, my favourite things. 8/4/2006

The Laumeier sculpture park is so nice! It is so well taken care of and it is fun to walk around. They have trails that lead to wooded areas, and plain paved trails with gentle inclines. There is a childrens section as well with fun sculptures that have seen many a child climb upon them. It is a great place to take a stroll with a loved one. more

Laumeier 4/15/2006

Laumeier is so much fun. It’s a really cool thing that we have here in St. Louis. Something really unique. It’s a bit out of the city, but worth the drive. Not only is the sculpture fun but the park is also beautiful. They did concerts there last summer, so lets hope they do that again as its such a great idea. more

Unlike any other park in St. Louis 1/24/2006

I love Laumeier!!! From my college days til now, I have loved exploring this park on warn spring days. I remember the enormous sand castle exhibits they have had over the years, and anyone who views their fire and ice display doesn't soon forget it. If you live close enough, definitely check it out. It's kinda tricky to find, but once you do, you'll be back. more

Simply The Best 10/20/2005

Laumeier Sculpture Park holds a place close to my heart. As long as I can remember, we have been taking our children there for picnics and letting them run around and play on the (appropriate) sculptures. We love the hands-on kids area and have been to many events there this year alone. With the addition of LOMA (Laumeier Outdoor Music Ampitheater) this park is sure to be a cherished asset for years to come. more

Art you can play on 8/11/2005

This is one of the things I miss most in Tampa. It is a large park with open grass areas and walking paths both out in the open and through shaded areas. Interspersed are striking large works of art. Many of them you can climb on or into which often adds another dimension to the art. more

Beautiful park tons to see 7/29/2005

Oh this is such a great park to go to. The men take care of this park so well I have never seen any trash or broken bottles laying around for a kid to pick up and they have the neatest sculptures. They have this huge one it is a blue green color and so large and so wildly shaped you can see i form the road it is so big plus it has many more sculpture to see all shapes and sizes and most will tell the story of who made them and when plus they have tables you can sit at and eat a lunch while you are there. It is such a neat place to go to, plus its free to get into. more
