Wow, the food might be good, I wouldn't know. We walked to Leo's in 10? F with a baby and four folks over 65 (our parents!) We were an 8 top, they don't take reservations. So we ...

Hidden Treasure! 11/20/2003

Having dinner at Leo's is like going to Grandma's for Sunday supper... The food is as traditional, homemade Italian as it's going to get! If you're looking for a more modern place to eat, don't come here. You come to Leo's for the food, the Frank Sinatra music, and the value - the prices cannot be beat, especially if you're sticking to pasta! A perfect way to save money for later that evening on Washington Street... Pros: Food, Value, Frank Cons: none! more

A gem in the rough 8/24/2003

Snobbish foodies need not apply & yuppies? Stay away. Leo's is old-time Italian Hoboken at its very best. On a recent visit however, their attempt to update the restaurant annoyed me. ""Don't mess with a good thing"", ""if it ain't broke, don't fix"" it & several other cliches come to mind. Pros: local & accessible, good prices, good food more
