Leone Tailor & Cleaner

Absolutely HORRIFIC customer service: I brought in a ""dry clean only"" light cream parka that was ruined by their dry cleaning machine. Leone, himself, told me that his son new that the machine would not clean the jacket properly and it left light grey and purple markings ALL over the jacket, however instead of just returning the jacket without attempting to clean it, he put it through the machine 2-3 times! Leone agreed with me that his son should not have cleaned the jacket, however he could not be responsible for the damage done by the machine nor his son and advised me to take it back to the store to have the store refund my money. He did not offer to compensate me for the damage to the jacket, and when I asked what their policy was in these instances, he said the store should be held accountable, not him, his son nor the machine. Now I'm out the $200 i spent on the jacket plus the dry cleaning expenses. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES TO THIS CLEANER AS THEY WILL CHARGE YOU TO DESTROY THEM. more

Same bad experience as the others. Shoddy work and belligerent about it. I can't afford to have my wardrobe ruined in the blink of a dry-cleaning. more

I took my simple wedding dress to be steamed cleaned at Leone's who I have used in the past and liked. When I picked up the dress they charged me double the price and when I got it home there were still several areas where the fabric wasn't laying right. The main problem was right in the middle of the dress. I took it back for Leone to look at he said he would have the girl redo the areas of concern. When I got it back again nothing had changed. I told Leone I could have steamed it myself but that I took it to a professional so it would look perfect. He told me to get a new dress! Yeah right a week before my wedding. I asked for my money back and he told me they should have charged me more to begin with. He was so rude that I told him I would never be back and that I would let everyone I know how awful this experience was. He smiled and said ""Good that is beautiful, we are too busy any way."" So all, Leone doesn't want your business, he doesn't do a professional job, and he is an ass. Bottom Line Don't Go Here :) Thanks Leone, I mean it is only my wedding day. more

I only wish that Leones had more locations. I live north of the southern most store and I have to drive out of my way to go there. Having said that, there is a reason why I am willing to drive out of my way to go there. No one else makes my clothes look as good. \r \r If you value the way you look, the way your clothes look, take your clothes to Mr. Leone, you will be glad you did.\r \r Oh, and as far as the review from the bride..... Consider the source, and remember that it only seems like people with a complaint ever write on these things. I logged in to see what their hours are so I could take my clothes in tomorrow morning and saw the one neg review. \r \r I feel bad that Mr. Leone was the victim of a bridezilla.\r \r Pros: Excellent work! I took my 300.00 dress to Leone (the owner) to tailor for an upcoming wedding I was going to. The top was a little to big and needed some adjustments. I went into Leone's very nervous considering the cost of my dress and not knowing him. He was nice and confident that he could tailor my expensive silk dress. I needed my dress BY a certain day and time and told me ""NO PROBLEM!"" I headed back to the store (5 days later) to pick up my dress. The girl at the front went into the back of the store to get my dress and came back empty handed. She proceeded to tell me ""It was not ready"" I was very upset because I was leaving in 12 hours to get onto a plane I asked her if my dress had even been worked on. She went and checked on my dress for a second time, came back and told me ""No, it doesn't look like anyone has even started it!"" No apologies, Nothing. I then told her to give me the dress so I could go somewhere else. While she was getting it Leone (the so called ""Tailor"") came in and saw me. He was frantic knowing my dress was not ""SO-CALLED"" ready yet and told me it would only be 10 minutes to do it. I was very nervous and desperate at this point considering I needed to dress for the next morning. He took it into the back and frantically worked on it for 15 minutes. He charged me $35.00 and said ""Thanks"". I went home and took my dress out of the plastic and could not believe my eyes. My 300.00 silk dress I gave this man to alter was ruined. The silk was Kinked and Crinkled from the seem. The zipper was uneven by an INCH. The hem was like a zig zag all the way down. I was very upset. I called Leone very politely and told him how I was feeling and how the dress was ruined. Or at least ruined until I had someone re-do the hemming, zipper, etc. which I had NO time for considering I was getting on a plane the next day. He proceeded to SCREAM (No Joke) at me and basically told me I was crazy. I could not believe what I was hearing on the other end of the phone. I can't believe HE ruined my dress. I can't believe he would not give me a re-fund so I could get it fixed. AND TO TOP IT OFF....I did not get ONE word in because he was yelling at me... AND TO REALLY TOP IT OFF....He hung up on me. I work in the service industry and would NEVER or nor I have seen anyone be treated like I was at Leone's. I since have told everyone I know about this and took my dress to another alterations place (They could not BELIEVE what he did to my dress!!!!) I was so mistreated personally as well as my dress. Thanks Leone for helping me believe you were a good tailor and giving me back a hack job.) DO NOT GO HERE! Cons: Ruined my dress, Unfriendly, The owner hung up on me. more
