Excellent Subs and Pizza 4/12/2012

Leonardo?s has been a favorite lunch spot for me for the past two years. Conveniently located next to the Innsbrook office park, it is a great place to bring co-workers and friends alike. Their subs are top-notch (I highly recommend the steak sub) and their pizza is the best in town. Many of my co-workers also rave about their salads. The wait-staff is the friendliest I?ve met. If you are a regular, like me, you?ll get to know them all and they?ll get to know you too. After two or three visits, you?ll feel like you are going to see old friends when you walk in the door. The food is great, the atmosphere is open, and most importantly it?s a fun place to be. more

Never A Dull Moment 4/12/2012

A friendly restaurant with the best pizza in town and a lively staff. I have been here for lunch meetings, large group lunches and small get togethers and each time the food was delicious and it's obvious the staff enjoys getting to know the customers. The menu has a great variety of pizza, subs, salads, etc. and I have yet to find something I didn't like. Great restaurant and I look forward to going back. more

Really good food! 7/28/2010

I've been eating here for many years & it is always delicious. Love their Greek salad (get the house Italian dressing) and lasagna. Everything I have had here over the years has been fresh & very tasty. Nice & inexpensive wine list. I'm so sick of chain restaurants & this is always worth a trip. Nice specials when I go on the weekends. Very friendly family-run place. You can't go wrong with any of their pizza-I think it is the best in Richmond. Pros: Consistently delicious more

Horrible! 7/18/2010

This was by far the WORST ""Italian"" food I have ever tasted. Pizza was mediocre but the pasta dishes were so subpar I couldn't believe a business would actually serve them. Spent $63 on a delivery order and threw it all away after a few bites. Baked spaghetti had no sauce and was made with overcooked noodles and the lasagna was inedible. I truly feel sorry for anyone who thinks this is decent food! Cons: Food is overpriced and terrible more

This is the best !!!!!!!! 6/14/2008

We moved to Short Pump a few months ago and have tried many places to eat. This is a great find. So far, we've tried the pizza, subs and lasagna. It was all priced really reasonably and everything was delicious. You gotta try it. We love wine and they have a big selection by the glass (and it's cheap!!). Pros: Great homemade food at a reasonable price. Very comfy dining room & no smoking. more

more than just pizza 7/18/2005

This place is awesome. My kids are happy with a cheese pizza (which is delicious by the way) and I can order a glass of wine and pasta. I love their lasagna which comes with salad and bread. I alway upgrade my salad to a Greek. You can take anyone here and they will enjoy the food. The price is very reasonable. I often go at lunch with my colleagues and have the chicken caesar salad. I have never had a bad meal here. It's a great, local place. Pros: homemade food more

our absolute favorite! 8/13/2004

Their white pizza is to die for. I usually go with friends and we all order different things. The lasagna is homemade and is awesome and so is their steak & cheese sub. Wine list is limited but great value. I honestly don't think you could get anything here that wasn't delicious. Pros: great food, great value more

Inflate the pizza 10/28/2002

I got the hand tossed pepperoni pizza last night and I admit it was a pretty good NY style pizza. The crust was still a little thin for my taste, and they still had a thin crust to order!! That must be like eathing a cracker with pizza sauce. Anyway the pizza sauce they use was really good, had a lot of flavor to it, the cheese used was good. They had one of the largest topping choices I have seen at a pizza place. They have your pizza ready in about 10 minutes. Their cheese bread is interesting...slices of provolone wrapped around the outside, needed more garlic but was good other than that. Pros: descent pizza, fast service Cons: crust too thin more

best kept secret in West End! 8/6/2002

I'm surprised this place isn't rated #1 in the city! It is awesome. The food is the best! I love a special they have - shrimp tortellini while my wife always orders tuscany chicken pizza. we have taken friends and everyone has been really happy with their food. lots of wine by the glass and cheap draft beer. i don't think you can go wrong here. p.s. also a really nice dining room Pros: food, location, ambience more
