Nice Mall 6/17/2006

We visited this mall on a rainy day while on vacation. It was very nice. It has a large carousel inside that the kids just loved! There is also a nice play area for children on the upper floor. The problem with it was, there were a ton of older children in there (obviously over the height limit) and were running over the smaller kids so we didn't play long. They have a large selection of stores inside including: Gap, Old Navy, Victoria's Secret, Build A Bear, Dick's, Dillard's, etc. The were also several little stands throughout the center of the mall. On the upper floor were several places to grab a bite to eat. There is also a theater located outside the mall. more

Best at the Beach 8/20/2005

Lynnhaven Mall is one of the best malls in the Tidewater area, they have alot of the best clothing stores like Hecths, Dillards, and Nordstroms. Good shops like Up against the wall, Old Navy, Gap, and Banana Republic. It is a very nice place to shop as the place is well kept. The sales aren't that great, so prices are still about average, but nevertheless it is a good place to shop. more

Best Mall in VA Beach 8/19/2005

Lynnhaven Mall is the best mall in Virginia Beach, but then again the only competitor is Pembroke Mall. Lynnhaven mall is full of the hippest stores and it has a great movie theater and great places to eat like Uno's and Ruby Tuesdays. It is easy to get around in as there is only one floor that radiates from one central point. more

Nice Mall 8/13/2005

I think Lynnhaven is by far the nices mall in Virginia Beach. it's not quite as nice as MacArthur in Norfolk or Greenbrier in Chesapeake, but it is more than adequate. It's always pretty busy though, because the ohter malls just stink. It is well laid out with lots of retail chain stores to choose from. There are some original stores too which is really cool. It definitely beats the pants off Pembroke and Military Circle. They have everything you could want in a mall...excellent food court and theatre too. In addition, in the immediate area you will find a lot of other shopping and restaurants. more

Large Selection of Stores but Crowded 8/8/2005

Lynnhaven Mall has a large selection of the usual mall stores (Gap, Dillards, Aeropostale, Old Navy, EB Games), but it 's pretty much always too crowded for me. Even on a Monday afternoon, you'd be hard-pressed to find a parking spot anywhere near the building. This is also where a lot of the Virginia Beach teens and pre-teens tend to hang out, so be prepared for loud and slightly disruptive teenagers to be present during your shopping trip. However, if you're looking for the usual mall shopping experience, this is probably the place to find it. The food court is decent and has all the normal chain restaurants (Taco Bell, Chick Fil-a, McDonalds). Lynnhaven Mall has it all - however, if you're looking for a unique shopping experience, try MacArthur Center or Pembroke Mall instead. more
