Great for TaeKwonDo, Hapkido, Self Defense 2/3/2006

I've been going to this school for about 5 months now and I only have good things to say. They teach taekwondo, Hurk Choo kwan style hapkido and some jiu-jitsu here and you get unlimited training for the same monthly fee. The instructors are really nice and will help you get the most out of your training. Do check this place out if you're looking for a fun way to get in shape! Pros: great instructors, big space, inexpensive more

Editorial

  • The Challenge
We've all been impressed by the force it takes an Olympian to carve a line in a stack of boards with one swift chop of his hand. You might be equally impressed, though, with the difficulty and concentration needed to execute some of the simpler moves in Tae Kwon Do. Students are tested on their ability to perform certain moves and routines then are promoted to the next belt color.

    The Gear
Loose clothing is essential; shoes are not. Intermediate and expert levels use props such as the famous stacks of wood and broadswords for routines and competitions.

    Who's Doing It
You know that cute, petite girl you're always seeing out at the clubs? She's doing it. As is her bulky bodyguard boyfriend and their quiet, bookworm roommate.
