Leah's Skin Care

I first started seeing leah after i saw my sisters skin look amazing , and asked her if she had been doing something different. She told me she had started doing the anti-aging leah's special facial. i have now been leah's client for 4 years and look noticebly younger today than i did then. i have been doing the intensive anti-aging treatment, and it is fantastic!!. My skin ismuch firm and my wrinkles are much smoother . Everyone compliments me on my skin and wants to know who i go to. Leah is booked back to back everytime i go to see her. But i always come out looking great and feeling relaxed. There is absolutely no sales pressure, which is great since i donot like using too many products. it is easier to get an appointment either morning and early afternoon, but since she is very punctual, you can run out during lunch hour and come back looking good. I have been suffering with acne for literally a decade and have run through the gamut of over-the-counter products and prescription medications. I've had many facials in the past that touted ""deep cleansing"" and appropriateness for sensitive skin types like myself, but none have given me nearly as successful results as Leah's. Leah is gentle - she doesn't use any harsh products or tools that can scar the skin. She is incredibly knowledgeable, easy to talk to and genuinely interested in monitoring your skin reactions and developments post-facial. Since I've gone to see her, my skin has remarkably improved and is on the fast track to becoming the clear complexion I've yearned for throughout my adolescence and early adulthood. Leah also does amazing eyebrow shaping and does the best brazilian waxes in the city. If you've ever contemplated getting a brazilian but were too reticent for whatever reason, go to Leah! Leah creates such a warm and relaxing atmosphere. I always say she can make a one hour appointment feel like a 2 hour vacation from the hell of the city. Her tone and lift facial can make anyone look 5 years younger and when you copuple it with the dermabrasion, get ready to show some ID when you go to a bar! I've known Leah since before she finally opened up her own place, needless to say, i've been following her wherever she went before that. She is an incredible waxer which is why i've been so loyal to her. She uses natural waxes and is incredibly quick which reduces to pain amount to almost zero. My skin feels very soft and is never irritated afterwards. Her salon is very clean. She also has an incredible collection of indian jewelry, make up bags etc that are available for puchase. She brings them all back from India herself. I highly reccommend her to anyone. more

I went to Leah for a brow waxing on a whim. I am hesitant to ever go to anyone else, even though I travel a lot, I'm waiting to be back in NYC to have them done properly. Leah's name and number was given to me by a close friend who had been going for facials and bikini waxes with Leah for months in preparation for her wedding. After watching my friend's face go from blah to beautiful I decided to give Leah a try -- I am so thrilled I did. Ok. I am a bloke. and british. and manly (absolutely). and straight. and fed up of nasal hair. I saw someone getting their nose waxed on Q eye for the straight guy and said ""no way"". My wife - who uses Leah and thinks she is the best in the city - asked Leah who told her it was a very standard thing. Before you could say, splat, rip, ouch - my nose was bare. I have to say it was awesome. Much less painful that tweasing the odd straggler out in the mirror. One quick pull and I was done and dusted. Leah does the best brow shaping (people are always asking me where I get my brows done) as well as other types of hair removal and she gives wonderful relaxing facials. More than great services, seeing Leah is so much more personalized than going to a regular spa...every treatment is designed specifically for me, whether it is a combination of threading and waxing because I break out, or a facial customized because I am allergic to certain products. A ""mature"" man's perspective: Leah is the best. I NEVER had any skin care until I found Leah. Leah's treatments have taken ten years off my age (I am told). I am a doctor, try to do the usual healthy things, but there is no question that I have a greater sense of well-being and confidence after a few years of Leah's expert and non -intrusive skin care. Could not recommend more highly.
