Terribly disappointed in this being called a GAY bar 5/31/2010

I would give it ZERO stars if that were an option. Took a friend from out of town Friday night and was so embarrassed. I thought we were in a lesbian bar! Virtually NO MEN at all. Most all the "ladies" looked as big and unattractive as Chaz Bono. Some were walking around barefooted? OMG! Before the show began, they played a "video" stream of HIP HOP/Hispanic videos..WTF? This is a gay bar...where is the dance music? Will never go back, unless I have a need to see morbidly obese, chainsmoking, barefoot lesbians run around with back fat hanging over their MENS boxer shorts. This place is a total turnoff. TACKY decor, overpriced drinks. The description you read here as an overview is WAY OFF. Naugahyde/plastic is NOT leather, and there is no decor to speak of unless you count neon beer signs and such. The picture above must have been LONG LONG ago. They even have stings of lights around the stage like you would buy at BIG LOTS for your patio...cheap cheap cheap. I wasn't expecting much but this place makes the bar in downtown Panama City look like STUDIO 54. I wanted to take a bath after I left this dive. We three gay guys just left shaking our heads in disbelief. Pros: Absolutely NONE Cons: Where do I start? more

not fun 2/25/2010

i drove a friend there as a favor. she has gone there many times before, but it was my first time there. the staff disrespected me. if you dont have a smile on your face, clap and show that you are having a good time, paying attention to all the performances every second - then beware. all i did was finish my drink and start eating the ice which filled up the plastic cup - even though i didnt ask for ice with my drink, which i didnt mind so much. i didnt complain when i was there. when i went to the bathroom it was filthy. the people did not move out of my way when i politely asked them to. they were blocking me off. i was not rude to anyone, but i was still treated with disrespect. i know why i came there. i was doing a favor for a friend. i didnt do anything to deserve being treated the poor way i was. i dont think i will go inside there again. if i drive my friend there again i think i'll just give her the cash she needs to enjoy herself inside and wait in my car. i dont like going to any place where the people lack moral intelligence - at least to the degree i felt they did there. my friend is bi and i am straight. i dont have anything against drag and if anything i like cross dressing. i thought the atmosphere was okay and i liked the black lights, but i didnt go there to get yelled at by the staff and disrespected for just being myself. Pros: cheap admission but still not worth it Cons: filthy bathroom, disrespectful people more

Best Hangout Spot 8/9/2008

I visted Le Buzz for the first time on Friday night, i liked the fact that Brent Starr was such a great comedian and the drag queens where very entertaining. It was nice to just go to a place that was not too crowded like many places in downtown Atlanta are. The guys there were HOT and not to fail and mention that the service was great...i am definately looking foward to going back to Le Buzz and for those of you that havent gone there you really should. Pros: its not too crowded therefore you are able to have decent conversations with the people you meet. Cons: i really have no cons more

Fun for gay people and straights!! 7/7/2008

I went to Le Buzz for the first time on a Saturday night. And i will DEFINATELY return. Entrance was very cheap & parking wasn't bad. It was pretty crowded for the drag show (which was AMAZING), but tables and chairs were moved around 2ish for drunken dancing! The bartenders were friendly, and pretty much all of the staff had a sarcastic sense of humor. I'm straight, but i had an amazing time. Definately not just for the gay and lesbian crowd. Pros: good dancing, fun shows, good atmosphere, plenty of areas to chill Cons: crowded doorways, long lines on busy nights more

Customer service is great, friendly bartenders, Very nice place to visit or maybe even frequent, monday nights-Free Pool, Tuesday Nights-Karoake/Variety Show with THE Brett Starr 9/19/2006

The Drag shows are some of the best i've ever seen I highly recomend it as a place to go and have fun. There are drag shows thursday, Friday and Saturday, always ended with the latest and hottest dance music for the customers enjoyment . ONCE AGAIN, THIS IS A PLACE YOU MUST VISIT !!!!! Pros: Talented Performers, Friendly Staff, Great Management Cons: Parking on Saturdays can be a hassle due to other clubs close by. more

just horrible 5/24/2006

Surprise on a quite Tuesday 5/23/2006

My best friend and I were in town and had nothing else to do; so we stopped by this sleepy little spot around 10:30 and were completely taken by surprise. We expected to stop for a single drink and finally left at 2:30!!! Pool players will love this place; we watched a couple of girls literally win the pants off a straight guy -- not once but twice. Yeah, you got what I mean, but dont think those two got out without losing a few things themselves. The drinks were great, and everybody was so friendly. It is nice to be in a strange place and be made to feel so comfortable. This place has a charm of its own, reasonable prices and a pleasant crowd a must visit place. Its a gay bar that the straight guys will probably discover and take over when they figure it out. Pros: price, pool, friendly people Cons: bathroom more

Parking/$100 boot fee 9/8/2004

Beware of the "boot" and $100 boot fee. The funeral home near Le Buzz is serious about parking and has cars booted. The no parking signs are obscure. If in doubt ask a bartender or door person if you are parked in a legal space. Pros: good show, good drinks, nice people more

  • The Scene
Despite its location in conservative Cobb County, this hot show club and bar is one of the best nightspots in the metro area. The modern decor features polished hardwood floors, expansive patio seating and two full-service bars. The main bar is festooned with rainbow pride flags and big screen TVs. The adjacent Oasis Room boasts a stage for shows and a spacious dance floor surrounded by intimate, blue-topped tables. Comfy leather couches provide a break from the action.

    The Draw
This bright spot in gay nightlife offers the perfect after-work or late-night getaway from the run-of-the-mill dance and drink scene. Le Buzz rewards the trip north with a glitzy atmosphere, nightly entertainment on the 10s, three new pool tables and excellent service. Both young and old, men and women, come to mingle with drag queens and straight couples who fancy a change. Visitors come from miles to sample this scene.
