Best

I normally don't waste my time writing reviews, but I feel that I HAVE to give feedback on this salon. I am so happy I found out about this place! My boyfriend and I are going to ...

Worst

I had been a ""member"" of Le Beach Club (Beverly Blvd) for years, just paying a monthly fee until they said they weren't offering it anymore and that I had to buy a package deal ...

Love it! 11/6/2007

Love the salon, love the people, love the results. I would highly recommend it! Plus, their hours rock. Pros: Awesome machines Cons: Parking more

A great experience 9/29/2007

ok you guys...its easy as this, if you dont want to spend the extra money for the Cleanliness go to suntans to go and get a staft infection. Stop being so cheap and complaining about it. im a student and spent the money because i dont wanna risk going to a place that has 12 year olds cleaning beds that we lay on and sweat on. So go somewhere else and take your chances. I didnt feel any pressure when i went in. The girl actually told me a better deal for me because she knew i was a student. Maybe you guys shouldnt go to their brentwood location and actually if you live in brentwood you shouldnt mind spending the extra money for a better facility...right? Pros: clean, low key, private, cute girls Cons: a little bit more pricey than other salons more

CON ARTISTS HERE! 5/17/2007

Please don't tan here! I purchased a package of 20 tanning sessions for $280.00 in December of 2005 which was a good deal and the girl who helped me told me that the sessions wouldn't expire. Since I don't tan much, I hadn't used 7 of my sessions when I went back there last week to tan. The person at the front desk said that I had no sessions left and that they expired in December of 2006. I told him that the person who signed me up said that they didn't expire (mind you, I don't have my receipt anymore), nevertheless how does something that you pay for expire? Especially a service that only takes 8 minutes - what do they have to lose by giving me my 7 sessions that I paid good money for? I spoke to the manager the next day who tried to make me feel better by saying that she would give me $100 off of a package of 10 sessions which would come to $282.00!!!!!!!!!!!! What!!!!!!!!!! The original price is $383.00 for 10 sessions and that is supposed to be a Mothers Day Special...Wait, it gets better...Then I thought I would call another Le Beach Tanning Salon and talked to a girl at the one on Overland - she was a little better - she said that she would give me my 7 tanning sessions and a $100 off of a package of 10 for the $283.00. PEOPLE, I DON'T WANT TO SPEND MORE MONEY! I JUST WANT MY 7 TANNING SESSIONS THAT I PAID $175.00 FOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR\r Today I called the salon on Montana and asked for the corporate office number - of course, they don't have that information...\r Stay tuned for Part II (if corporate calls me back)...\r \r Moral of the Story: DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THIS COMPANY - THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AT SOME POINT... Pros: Casual, Service Cons: Phony Sales Pressure, Sessions Expire more

Deceptive Pricing / Unclean Facility 12/15/2006

I got their ""Unlimited Tanning for $24.99"" coupon and thought I'd give it a shot. Turns out they want my checking account number and a $150 sign up fee? What a scam... I filed a complaint with a consumer agency. Would not recommend. Pros: Deceptive pricing, poorly trained staff, unclean facility Cons: Cute name more

i like this place 9/16/2006

i dont understand the bad reviews. i really like this place. the girls are all really friendly when i come in (never seem to be any guys though, haha) they really seem to know what they're talking about. i get really good color from the beds, they even let me try out the different types to see which one worked best for me. i dont feel pressured to buy anything and im a salesperson myself (so i can spot a desperate pitch a mile away). \r i appreciate the cleanliness, the locations make it easy for me to tan anywhere in LA, they always know my name when i walk in the door, and im really happy with the results. \r for me, those things are more important then the possibility of getting hassled to buy stuff.\r i think some people just cant be pleased or if you walk in with a bad attitude, your probably not going to get much love in return. you catch more flies with honey, right!\r bottom line, they won me over, and until i leave LA, in tanning here! Pros: can use any location, staff is great, clean! Cons: price, sometimes there's a wait for a bed more

Most Upscale in L.A. 8/30/2006

This is by far the best tanning salon in LA. I usually use their high pressure bed (Magic) and then do a mystic for the best results. I've also tried their airbrush and the girls are just plain fabulous!!! The place is immaculate and sanitation is always a priority (I wouldn't tan any where else, especially if the sales girls are cleaning the beds, yuck). If you want the best in results, go to the Beach Club on Robertson. The girls know what their talking about and can set up on a package that's catered to you and not just the most expensive like other salons (Sunset Tan, lol). Pros: always new bulbs, trained staff, CLEAN!!! Cons: a little more pricey, but worth it more

great service and knowledgable 8/22/2006

I recently moved from Scottsdale, AZ - where of course there is a salon on EVERY corner- I actually tanned at a salon that was based in Scotts. and also here in Bev Hills... sadly the beds couldn't compare to the salon back home so I ended up trying out Le Beach Club and LOVED it!!! I had two differnt accounts going as I wasn't able to just cancel my purchused tans at the other salon. The girl that helped me out was so sweet and helpful, knowledgable, too. Though it was a bit more than the salon I first went to I got color and the beds were only 12 min vs. 20. ALSO they have an amazing mystic tan, that offers a different soulution that doesn't smell as much and doesn't stain- it's w/o the bronzer, I was able to try out the Air Brush. I feel like a spokesman but I have to say I really am glad I made the switch. Pros: CLEAN!!!! friendly, variety Cons: about $20 more BUT you get what you pay for more

RIP OFF ARTISTS 8/1/2006

Stay Away this place is pure Hell, they almost trap you and hold you hostage if you don't buy a package or extras. I have never seen anything like it. They tell you one price then charge another Cons: Liars, Cheats, Thieves more

Worst Tanning Place Ever! 7/2/2006

This place should have gotten the ""Worst Tanning Salon"". Definitely my worst experience. The prices are way too high and the customer service is unfriendly. I usually tan easily at other places but this place I had no results after going the recommended three times. I bought an over priced tanning package that they sell you on from the start. I know why they sell you on the package deals from the minute you set foot into their store. They can get your money up front and once they have your money they really don't care about the customer or the that you never tan from their beds. Do yourself a favor and don't tan here. Cons: Rude staff, over priced tanning more

Do Not Tan Here! 6/5/2006

This has been the worst tanning experience ever! Over priced tanning with bad service. They love to sell these packages and once you use their tanning you realize that they use the cheapest products. I did not get tan and after going three times I wanted customer satisfaction and asked for a refund for the remaining tanning sessions. Not only did they refuse but I had to call three times and each time there was never a manager there to resolve my dispute. Never even returned my call. Don't make the same mistake I did! Do not tan here! Cons: Rude Service, High Pressure to sell, No tan results more

Unethical Practices 8/12/2005

I was sold a package on special for 20 visits for $250.00. They sold me suntan lotion and lip gloss. It was my mistake for not looking at the cc receipt before I signed, but the salesperson told me she would only charge 1/2 to my credit card, and would charge the other half the following month. When I received my bill, the entire amount was charged, and it found that they charged me $100.00 for the lotion. When I questioned them I was told they would change out the lotion for a less expensive one and credit my account. They never did. I have since seen specials for an entire month at $39.99. I went for 6 visits and didn't get tan. I normally tan very easily, but they must be using lower wattage bulbs. It doesnt work. I called to complain and no one has called me back. Cons: overly expensive, poor equipment more
