I came across Laurens salon and decided to give it a try. Bogart is a hair genius!!! I have super thick long blonde hair. He knew exactly what to do and how to handle it. He is super precise and he does dry cuts which is great. A quarter inch is a quarter inch. My hair has shape and i feel like superstar. I will never go anywhere else!! Bogart is GREAT, I recommend him to anyone with crazy thick and long hair! I never knew my hair could look this good. more

Scott Riffe at Lauren's Salon Spa provides an amazing salon experience. On my first visit, I walked in looking normal, average, acceptable...good. When I walked out. I looked and felt more than amazing! I felt Stunning! His Dry Cut Technique shaped my hair in such a way as to frame my face, bring out my eyes and give me the look and appeal I have been searching for. My haircuts with him, now, typically last for weeks, because the work he does is tailor-made, specifically for me. I love the attention and the creative touch. Mostly I love the results. I have been going to Renee Dondanville for years, and recently heard she moved to Lauren's Salon and was so bummed since it's farther. I now have to drive a distance to see her rather then her being just around the corner, but she is SO worth the drive. Most times you go to a stylist and at least ONE thing goes wrong with your hair and you just end up having to deal with it, but this is not the case with Renee. I have blonde hair and I have it highlighted and used end up with a light highlight compared to the rest, but not anymore. Renee's a great girl and an awesome hair stylist! I simply have to RAVE about Michelle at Lauren's Salon Spa! Every time I leave the salon I feel like a million bucks! When trying to find a hair salon -- you want someone who will listen to what you want and give you honest advice about whether it works for your type of hair or not. Michelle is simply amazing in both color and cut. She truly listens to what you want and her suggestions just make my hair look even better! I love that her schedule is flexible (I've had appointments at 9 am on Saturday or 7 pm on a weeknight -- and she even works at least one Sunday a month). Michelle loves what she does and it truly shows! more

Mari is fantastic!!! This Cameron Diaz lookalike LISTENED to exactly what I wanted and didn't want and made my hair look even better than I imagined it could. Every time she does my hair, she did a perfect job. My highlights look beautiful and natural, and I got a lot of compliments on my hair. I love Michelle. Not only is she the perfect blend of Midwesternly friendly and unpretentious while supremely professional and commandingly competent, she has worked absolute magic on my previously thin, flat, dry hair. Before I found her, I had been sporting a shade of bright red (a la Marcia Cross). While I loved how sassy it made me feel, it was simply not the right shade for me. She found a richer, deeper shade of auburn that compliments my skin tone, and added bangs which keeps me feeling like a badass red-head. Before I left, I overheard some of the other stylists referring to her as ""The Hair Whisperer""; I couldn't agree more. more

MARIII MARIII MARIII She is one hell of a talented mamacita! First of all, she always looks fabulous, which off the bat builds the first block of trust between a stylist and her client. If you're picky about your hair, rest assured that Mari will listen to you. Im seriously anal about the length of my hair, and Mari recognizes that concern; as she's trimming away, she always asks me if this length is okay, if i want to add more layers, if my bangs are just right... she makes sure that her work reflects my needs and that is why the outcome is always FABULOUS! Mari is one of the BEST hairstylists I know. Through her work, one can tell that she really loves what she does. Every time I have gone to Mari for styling my hair, I have recieved many complements from people telling me how natural my hair looks. Mari does not make you feel like you have tons of hairspray on your hair. Most importantly, Mari is a great listener. She will listen to what her customers ask for and do as they please. When you look good, you feel good, and I always feel good after seeing Mari. I love that I can go to one person for everything: natural highlights, cuts, updos, downdos, and makeup. She's fast and efficient. Take a picture of what you like, and yes, she will do EXACTLY the same thing, the same way. She never has disappointed me. Most importantly, she listens to what YOU want. Mari, the little blondie, is the best hair dresser.. i have had such great experience with her each time i have gone by her to get my hair done. she is brillian with blondes. She transformed my hair from the ugliest shade of blonde, to the most beautiful one. I get compliments on my hair all the time. Not only is she good at coloring and highlighting, she is also great at styling. she makes my hair different each time and i love it more and more! her blowdries, style ups, and downs are all great. She is a young brilliant talented hair stylist that knows exactly what you want, and she makes sure she deliver her best ability. she is very devoted in her job, and does her best to book you in. not only is she a great hair dresser, she is also brilliant in doing make up. She is a great make up artist. She makes eyes look sooo beautiful, that you would not want to remove it by the end of the night! she is simply amazing, and i have been her client for years! i had been a long time customer of scott's until i moved to new zealand a few years ago and let my hair grow SO long there because i couldn't find anyone there who could handle it in the same way scott can. i am back in LA for a week visiting friends and it was so delightful to be able to see scott and get a haircut from him again! and i had not been to lauren's before, but its a super cute salon. i think scott is a true artist, with a passion for what he does and a genuine dedication to doing it perfectly. that makes such a difference to a person like me with insanely thick hair- i'm so used to hairdressers that see my hair as a problem and an inconvenience- scott is just the opposite and seems to really relish being able to work on hair like mine- he understands how to cut it and he makes it look amazing. he is also just a really fun, nice person. its such a pleasure to get a haircut from him. he is great!
