Excellent Laundry Service 3/7/2009

I should start by saying I am really picky about my laundry. They exceeded my expectations in every way. The delivery people are pleasant and punctual and while the website could use a facelift, it is functional and secure. The laundry arrives folded into the most perfect little squares! They have done an excellent job on everything from jeans & t-shirts to tights, dresses and business clothes. Early & Late hours are perfect for anyone who works. Treat yourself to this laundry service! Pros: Early/late hours, amazing laundry, friendly staff Cons: website more

Nice service; accommodating 5/4/2008

They do a wonderful job with the laundry and have always been on time and accommodating to my schedule changes. They fold wonderfully and use the cleaners of my choice. Only complaint is their website, you have to select 3 pick-up/drop-off time, but you can only choose one time per day, meaning you can try for open slots of Monday morning and Monday evening as options for pick-up, you have to choose a time on Monday or any other day of the week. more

Poor customer service... 1/22/2008

I have tried to use this service on several occasions but either their delivery pick up/drop off times are booked (and they inform you via email sometimes a day after you place the order) or they have lost my order and not picked up at all. Last week I rushed to make sure I was home in time for my pickup and they never showed up. When I wrote and complained, they seemed not to care. The one successful time I did use their service - they did a good job folding and my clothes smelled really fresh but due to the apathetic customer service and poor business savvy, I will be taking my laundry elsewhere. more

No pick-up 11/14/2007

I've become disenchanted since they've lost my pick-up appointments twice in the last month, leaving me waiting for them to pickup. When I call they are so very unconcerned and I need to reschedule because they forgot to put my name on the roster...again. Pros: Good job cleaning and folding; nice/kind delivery guys Cons: Staff doing scheduling are inept more

Super convenient, but website needs help 7/18/2007

I used laundry biz for the first time this week. The website is kind of a pain to use - they should really look at how freshdirect com sets up their time selection process. It would be much easier if they would blackout times and days that aren't available, so you don't have to find it by process of elimination. My laundry came back clean, it smelled very nice, and the delivery guy was courteous and prompt. I will definitely be a regular customer going forward.\r \r They only take cash - this website is inacurate. more

Great laundry pickup/dropoff service for Park Slope 3/26/2007

This laundry service is the best. The order form on the web is convenient and they always confirm right away. They always pickup and deliver on time, and their prices are comparable to drop-off services. Everything is neatly folded, and they will use any detergent you request. I don't know what we'd do without them! They're a must for busy apartment dwellers who don't have w/d hookups. I only wish they took PayPal! more

LUUUUUUUUUUV laundrydotbz 3/8/2007

I thought my world had ended when the laundromat 2-doors down from my apt. went out of business. It had always been one of the perks of my place: run down, throw stuff in the wash, run back up and be back in my own place in minutes. (It was really like having the machines right in my own building.) But where was I supposed to schlep all my grubby clothes to now??! And would I have to give up evenings to watch the spin cycle complete in some divey, over-priced joint 7 blocks away? argh!\r \r I can now say I'm actually HAPPY they closed! I had my first laundrydotbz experience yesterday and it was GREAT: completely punctual pickup/dropoff; beatifully clean clothes (you can tell they actually use hot water, which is something that my old neighborhood 'omat never did!); and serious folding skills on top of that! Things came back a little chilly (you can tell they pack the truck the night before the 6:00am deliveries - who can blame them?), but everything was entirely dry: even the thicker turtlenecks and bathmats. Whoohooo! Fantastic!!\r \r PS: don't get wigged out by the fact that the van is entirely unmarked and that you don't get a receipt when they pick up. I was a little sceptical, but it definitely all worked out! (Even all the socks were there when they came back.) Pros: prompt pickup/delivery service; flexible hours; great cleaning job Cons: (not a dry cleaner- it's a launderer - incorrectly classified here)// also incorrect here: it's CASH ONLY more

Manhattan doesn't know what they're missing 1/23/2007

This company spoiled me! laundrybz was the first company I ever sent my laundry out to, so when I moved from Brooklyn to Manhattan, I figured I would find a comparable wash-n-fold place. I have yet to patronize a single laundry service. I thought every laundry place: folded your clothes neatly, sorted/organized all your stuff, used fabric softener, returned your clothes the next day, charged a reasonable price, made it easy to schedule a pick-up/delivery, picked-up/delivered on time, tried not to ruin or lose any of your clothes... what I fool I was... Laundrybz, please come to Manhattan, I may (gasp!) start doing my own laundry again. Pros: great hours, accurate & reliable pick up & delivery times, attention to special requests Cons: cash only more
