me and 3 girlfriends went there on a weeknight, way after happy hour. the bar was barely crowded and the female bartender walked past us over 10 times. she didnt even want to ackn...

Horrible bar with horrible people 4/17/2007

If you are B&T or live in Murray Hill or the Upper East Side, then this place is for you. It's full of pretentious people who listen to pop music/watch MTV and drink bad beer (ie. Coors or Bud Light). This is a total frat boy/sorority girl scene- people who wish they were still back at ""State"". I guess it is totally what I expected from the address... Pros: You can laugh at the high comedy that is the clientele Cons: Why would a self-respecting person subject themselves to this place? more

Just so-so 4/3/2007

My office is at Worldwide Plaza, so a few of us tried this bar after work. It's pretty big and new, so it doesn't have that 'grimy pub' feel but the tradeoff was that we couldn't always keep our drinks replenished. The music and the crowd were pretty loud, so conversing is limited but otherwise its just your standard big bar space. Pros: Big space Cons: Drunk frat guys. more

Exceptional Service 4/3/2007

I came to Latitude last night to watch the Championship Game. My waitress was so nice and accommodating. As soon as my group walked in she got us a table right beside the large TV. The drink specials and food were also great. I am in the service industry so am picky about my service so I thoguht I woudl write a review about how great she was. Even though she was busy she kept our drinks filled and everything came out in a timely manner. Service with a smile - love it! Pros: Service, TVs, food more

Amazing Space 3/29/2007

What a great place! From the location, to the food, to the layout, to the sports bar (btw - love the TVs and oh, so many of them)....I could go on and on. I've been here on several occasions, and I have yet to be disappointed! Whoever is writing the below reviews about Latitude, obviously doesn't go out much often, and if you do, then it's to some shishy place. And that's what Latitude is NOT! Anywhere you go in this city, there are velvet ropes, guest list, cover charge, bottle service, rude bouncers, snotty staff.....and over-priced drinks! Tons of TVs. 3/29/2007

I went to Latitude last night and signed onto to Citysearch today to write a review. I was actually surprised to read the guy's below b/c I was there last night too. They had a ton of beers on draft and a huge bar with tons of TVs to watch. I guess I would have liked the game on sound but the music was actually good. I loved it here and WILL be returning. Not really good for beer or sports.. 3/29/2007

Went here to watch some NCAA hoops and there's lots of TVs but I think we were the only ones watching them. They didn't have the sound on, either, even though we asked them if they could put it on. Instead we had to listen to blaring loud music like my little sister listens to (um, yeah, she's 17 and loves the 80s, nuff said). Not much beer selection either. Unless you like coors light--which seemed to suit most of the crowd here anyway. Won't be going back. Pros: gigantic space Cons: beer selection, not good for watching sports more

Welcome to Buzzkill central 3/28/2007

One word about this place - Buzzkill. Went here for a friend's birthday party, what a mistake. Service was useless and the music stunk. The crowd was even worse. This is like drinking at the mall, so if you dig that, you'll love it here. more

Great place to throw a party 3/28/2007

I came here the other day for my Birthday and had a great time. I was on the 1st floor right by the windows that were open and it was great with the weather finally being nice. I haven't been upstairs yet but know they have a pool table. The staff is great - loved the music and crowd. Great location too. Highly reccommended. Pros: great vibe, staff, music, location more

Office Party 3/22/2007

We had our company party at Latitude and it was the perfect spot. The drinks were great and the atmosphere was fun. The good thing about the bar is that it is so big! We stayed late and had a great time. Can't wait for the roof to open! Pros: rooftop, cool, trendy, happy hour specials more

Good place to watch sports 3/21/2007

Good place to watch sports - went here for March Madness. They have a ton of TVs - good food. Drinks are reasonably priced. Had a great time and will be back for Yankee games. Pros: Lots of tvs, good food and drinks more

Music, Food, Drinks - loved it! 3/21/2007

I came to Latitude b/c my friend suggested it for Happy Hour. I go out a lot in NYC and I have to say this place is one of the best bars in NYC. The music was good - food delicious and reasonably priced (especially the burgers!) - and drinks were strong.....not to mention that the staff is not so bad to look at either. Exceptional Service 3/21/2007

I had held a happy hour event for an alumni group on Thursday, March 8th and I wanted thank you guys for such exceptional service. The bouncer was really friendly, the staff members were very polite and the bartender on the second floor, where we held our event was the best bartender I have ever encountered- she made great drinks and was so nice. A lot of the people that were there that night were saying the same thing and I wanted to thank you for letting us have our event there! Pros: service, happy hour more

Great Place to Have your Birthday Party. 2/25/2007

I was so happy with everything in this place. The service was great, Steve,the manager, was so attentive and went out of his way to make it great. The waitresses were also very nice and the service was great all night. The bouncer at the door was very nice also. This is a place that I would definitely recommend for anyone to throw a party at. The only negative thing is that the crab cakes are the size of m &m's but the food and drinks were good. more

Great Happy Hour Spot 2/20/2007

I had a get together here at the beginning of February and it was so much fun! The drink specials were fantastic and the music made me want to dance all night long. The atmosphere was pleasant and it was easy to meet different kinds of people. Not the mention the food was fantastic-especially the French Fries. Definitely a good place to go to for Happy Hour. Awesome all around! 2/13/2007

This place is awesome everytime I stop by. I come here at least once a week, and have even referred friends to Latitude. The ambiance is great, the staff is friendly, the food is great, as are the drinks! I have yet to have a negative experience here, and I'd be surprised if there ever was. From the minute you walk in and are greeted by the bouncer (which isn't normal in this velvet rope city) to the city recommendations by the staff, this place is just that...awesome and worth coming back for more. Great Happy Hour drinks, Good Service 2/13/2007

I'm not sure what they guy below is complaining about. I come to Latitude often b/c the wait staff and bartenders are so friendly. This place is loungy and upscale but they make you feel like you're in a neighborhood bar. And the Happy Hour drinks are great. Happy Hour is until 8:00pm on Thursday and Friday and they have half off Beer, Mojitos, Margaritas, and Cosmos. This is a great Happy Hour spot! Pros: Service, Happy Hour deals more

Horrendous service overshadowed the otherwise great vibe 2/11/2007

A group of a dozen co-workers and I went to Latitude after work last Friday. We were impressed with the long bar, decent drink menu, and contemporary interior.
