Strange service, bad food. \r Mahi mahi was overcooked, dry, & flavorless. Waste of money. \r The woman told me to sit on the patio so I did. Then she told me they had people coming soon so I asked if I should move. She said no. Then she came back & told me again. Said they had a party of 40 coming. I said "so you want me to order quickly?" "Yes" So I did. \r Then they proceeded to seat all the tables around me the whole time. It was really strange. It was just me so maybe she wanted me in & out. I didn't hear them tell any of the other tables or rush anyone else. It was so rude. more

This is probably one of the best kept Cuban food secrets in South Florida. Sitting outside watching people walk by, soaking in the Marina's ocean air, basking in the warm Florida weather, and eating some of Miami's best prepared Cuban Food with great service and very, very authentic dishes. A must try while at bayside, whether for snacks, a cold one, lunch or dinner - I go back every time I'm at Bayside! more

This is a chain is a mall. The food was good. The service was not so good. Beware that the tip is already on your bill, even for one diner. I would go back. more

Served me raw fish. Unacceptable! Very slow and poor service. Fair warning, they add a tip to the bill in advance, (which they really didn't deserve) so get it changed if you don't want to get ripped off. more

Good Authentic Cuban food..check your bill though, a service charge is already included. So tourists don't leave a tip. more

We typically love this Cafe for their "to go" empanadas de carne, so we decided to bring our family for a sit down meal. Once we were comfortably seated by one waiter, another came out and told us that we would have to move because they wanted us to sit inside. An argument among the staff then took place, showing how disorganized they were. The waiter we had was incredibly rude to everyone in our table, the food looked horrible (to my surprise), the rice was overcooked, the fish over salted. And when the bill came, it came with numerous errors and a 19% gratuity was included. While I will go back for their empanadas from the takeout window, I will never have a sit down meal there again. more

PROS:\r o Rather good food. The Ropa Vieja, Cuban Especial, and "Pork Chunks" were all good.\r o Nice location/views.\r \r CONS:\r o No Arroz con Pollo except on Sundays!\r o Slow service in general... I personally didn't have slow service the 2 times I ate here over the weekend, but I did see others having issues. Lots of places in Miami are like the Caribbean... they are on "island time". :)\r o Prices were a little higher than I expected, but the portions are more than adequate to justify the price hike.\r o Adding a tip automatically is retarded. more

I really enjoy a big cuban sandwich with a cortadito. This is a great place to feel the cuban style. Here the service is fast, hopefully you go with spanish speaker. Ask for the flan. more

Went during lunchtime rush... Service was absolutely terrible... the food for the five people in our group came out at different times, my CUBAN sandwich was missing ingredients it claimed from the menu, and our waitress was nonexistent to even refill a water glass. I will not go back. more

Poor service, no English, and unable to serve chicken and rice any day but Sunday, I will not return.... more

Dont bother trying to get the Cuban staple meal "Arroz con Pollo" on any day but Sunday here. Big dissapointment. more

Very disappointed. $20 for 2 virgin pina coladas that werent very good. Fish was just ok. Waitress forgot about us, despite few people inside. We had to ask for water three times before it arrived 20 minutes later. Tip is recharged on bill, so no incentive against slow and surly service. more
