I love The Laser Center of Maryland. I have interviewed 4 different Doctors to get my procedure done. I just didn't have that comfort level. My 5th interview was with The Laser Center of Maryland. The minute I called them I felt like they cared and wanted to help me. My appointment was the next day after calling. I met with Carla who was wonderful and actually had the procedure that I was looking to get. She shared her experience and really made me feel comfortable. There was no sales pitch or blank stares. My appointment was the following week. Dr. Mallileu was amazing and he really does care about you and what your goals are. I ended up getting more procedures done. They offer laser treatments but also cosmetic surgery. Daniel is also amazing and really goes out of his way to make you comfortable. I can't thank them enough! more

Horrible so called "Tattoo Removal Treatment"!\r \r I have a 12 year old simple black tattoo on my arm. \r \r I started my tattoo removal treatment in September of last year. \r \r I paid $600.00 for my 1st tattoo removal treatment. Then I bought a package of 6 tattoo removal treatments for $2,240.00, totalling almost $3,000.00. I finished all of my treatments, followed all of the after-care instructions and I am left with a tattoo that is slightly faded. This was one of the worst experiences in my life! The before and after pictures that you see on the Laser Center of Maryland's website are not a true reflection (in any sense) of what you will receive.\r \r I now went through a full year of the following:\r 1.) Pain and blisters for 1 year\r 2.) An only what appears to be a 1/4th completed tattoo removal procedure\r 3.) Came in to have something on the side of my head (temple) looked at and possibly biopsied. The staff at the center was courteous, professional and ensured my experience there was above reproach. Dr. VanAntwerp explained what exactly he was going to do, how it was to be done and what to expect. I felt nothing, literally. it has been a week and I can't tell there was ever anything on my temple. I came to Dr V because in 2009 he found skin cancer on my wife when others failed to identify and diagnose it. He saved her life before it needed saving. more

Dr. Ross Van Antwerp completely ruined my skin. The damage from the two laser treatment I had a couple months ago continues to get worst. The laser gave me fat loss, new acne scars, uneven texture, weird lines, and hyperpigmentation. Ever since I got these treatments, I have gone to see a psychiatrist to deal with anxiety and depression. I really wish Dr. Ross he had not lied about the side effects of this treatment. He told me that hyperpigmentation was the only possible side effect. I'm writing this review so others don't have to suffer through what I've gone through. I've seen other doctors and they tell me that nothing came be done too stop the damage. more

It's been a few years since I had a fraxel done and people still tell me I look great for 68. My skin is soft and moist. Using there products also helps to keep my face moist. I've never been one to use a lot of makeup, just a little blush works fine. I have recommended the Laser Center to several people and have seen great results. Taking care of ourselves as we age is not vanity it's just good common sense. When you look better you feel and act different. This reflects how you treat others around you. If you have been thinking about having something done, go and talk to Dr. Van Antwerp he will listen and suggest what treatment is best for you. more

Great Experience!!!\r I have suffered from acne and acne scaring since I was a teenager. I decided that I did not want to let my acne hold me back my confidence any longer, so I called The Laser Center of Maryland. I got a consultation with Dr. VanAntwerp the same week! The consultation lasted for 15 minutes and I started laser treatment the same day. Four treatment sessions and four and a half months later my skin is smooth and acne free fo the first time in adulthood! Dr. Van Antwerp answered my questions and took the time to explain things to me.His staff was friendly and helpful. I went to the Laser Center of Maryland with big hopes for starting laser hair removal on several parts of my body. I had a scheduled consultation, and arrived on time for my appointment. I waited for about half an hour to be seen, and when I was seen, I did not get what I was expecting. All that they did was tell me how the treatment works, and what the general prices were. I already had treatment information from online, and the prices were only general; they were not based on how long my treatment would take. I went expecting that they would look at my hair and skin where I wanted treatment, and talk to me about price and effectiveness based on that. However, they did not look, and I was told that they would have to do a test spot when I came in for treatment. All in all, I felt like my consulation was a huge waste of time. They could have given me all of the same information over the phone, and I would not have had to wait half an hour to be seen! more
