Las Rosas Mexican Restaurant

Las Rosas overall is a great restaurant and one I would recommend. Our neighbors absolutely love it and eat there once a week, however we are more the once a month because of location type eaters. The food is typical tex-mex mexican and depending on what you get is very good. They seem to excel in the more non-traditional plates such as the seafood enchiladas, and fish taco. There burritos are good but nothing to write home about. The margaritas are very good as well as the green sauce they have for their chips. It has a good ambiance throughout the restaurant and the majority of the waiters are very friendly. There is never a long wait and they are very efficient in getting their food out. My only concern with this restaurant is that sometimes it appears that it isn't the cleanest. My husband's glass once had lipstick still on it, and we have seen a roach before. However, every restaurant has this but it isn't always visible. We still return though. It is definitely a place to at least try once...good Mexican for the Katy area! more

We've eaten at Las Rosas many times, the food is very fresh tasting and the meat is plentiful. I usually get the tacos al carbon or burrito, and the wife gets a chimichanga or taco salad. The lunch prices used to be a bit cheaper, but they raised them about 6 months ago. Still not terribly high priced for your typical Mexican restaurant in Houston. Service is usually pretty quick, and waitstaff is usually very friendly and speak English. Overall I recommend it. more

We have eaten here many times and the food and service has always been wonderful. Their wait staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great. I recommend ordering either the "La Mason" or the "Swiss cheese enchlada" dinners. Their lunch prices start are $6.99, most dinners are $8.99. They have several rooms for private parties and there is also an outdoor patio dining area when the weather is nice. If you're in the mood for some great mexican food...come and check them out! more

We tend to go here after church for a great lunch. The great thing about this restaurant is if it's a nice day, they have outside dining. A family of three can order the fajitas for one and all be full afterwards! You get a ton of food for a great price. The service has always been very good and occasionally, Las Rosas will send coupons in the mail. They have an extensive menu so there will be something for everyone to enjoy. more
