I have no clue what the other reviewer is talking about. I went through 8 dentist before I stumbled on Dr. Larsen. He actually listened to me, then told me what the situation was and matter of fact like just asked me what i wanted to do? (I had a gum disease, that the rest of the dentist seem to have fail to notice) Anyway I didn't have insurance at the time (college student), so he set me up on a payment plan. The Hygienists at the office are the best in state. Doug by far is the best one I have ever been to in my life. Anyway he and the rest of them really care about my health and lectured me about flossing and brushing better. Then gave me some quick lessons on doing it correctly. 3 years later, I asked them why they were so stern with me. He told me, well as you can see in the notes I pre scheduled you for oral implants in 6 months if you didn't take care of you teeth better. Anyway it was good tough love and I have all my teeth and they are all healthy and bright. The front desk personal all know my name and my kids name even though I only brought him in once when he was 6 months when I was getting a tooth check out. (I wrecked on my snowboard and thought I cracked it. Dr. Larsen did x-rays for free just to put my mind at ease it was not cracked). Anyway the conclusion is the following. The reason he is booked out 3 months ahead is he the best in the state bar none. Oh important thing to keep in mind. His office building is totally old school 70's style. So it basically comes down to this, he pays his Hygienist top dollar Doug has been there over 10 years. So basically instead of wasting money on a cool building. But if you really need a dentist in a cool building, just think what is he not paying his staff in order to afford it.... It's your teeth, just something to think about next time you have a tooth ache
